Update 6:20 pm ET
Atlanta will again be a trouble spot today. The heaviest rain managed to stay south of the city during play yesterday. Tonight, showers are expected to be shifting further north. I’m still hopeful for play there, but check the discussion below. Minor issues elsewhere.
BOS @ KC: A SSW wind of around 15 mph will be blowing out to left-center field. Combine that with temperatures in the lower 90’s and the ball will be poppin’. GREEN
CLE @ BAL: A few showers/storms will be around Baltmore during the first half of this game. There is a slight risk of a delay. GREEN / YELLOW
STL @ PHL: A shower or storm is possible early, but the delay risk is really low. GREEN / YELLOW
SF @ ATL: Showers will be slowly shifting through during the game. I am hopeful we will get a full game in like yesterday, but it’s still looking iffy. It appears most of the heaviest rain will fall south and west of the city. So in short, there is certainly a mid inning delay risk, and even if they play through it, light rain and drizzle could make pitching a little problematic. I won’t rule out a PPD. Lets continue to go YELLOW.
TOR @ TEX: Hot and a little humid with light winds. Long ball game could be strong!
CHW @ MIN: National Weather Service has a 30% for evening showers or storms. Not really seeing any of that, so lets go GREEN
ARI @ COL: Stray shower or storm possible. Simply bad luck if storm does pop up over Coors Field.
