I’m not big time player and I normally just scatter entries in MLB and NFL across some 50/50’s and GPP’s playing small enough that if I lose my “bankroll” I just reload but I’d like to at least treat NBA like I’m serious about it. I’m going to stick to 7% of my bankroll in play each night I play and 90/10 in H2H/GPP and see where that gets me.
I’d like to know how you guys pick your H2H opponents? I know most of the really big names to avoid, but is there away to keep away from the better players? Last night I won 66% of my H2H which is still a winning night, but really think with better selection of opponents I could have swept my games. I won some games by 30 points and lost others by 20. What is a good process to select opponents in the lobby?
Second, is there a way to avoid situations like Verejao last night? Looked like a decent play to me and looking around the DFS community it seemed others might be on him as well and I needed a low salary player to fill out the line up. I guess I didn’t see him getting many more minutes, but he looked hardly involved at all. My lineup wouldn’t let me pay up for Drummond so I get that I’m not getting 40 points out of that roster spot, but was I wrong to expect better than 6 points from Verejao? Even 14 points from that spot and I sweep my H2H’s.
Thanks for any input.
