Hey guys! I was pretty into DFS a couple years ago, but things happened and I haven’t really played the last 2 years. I’m considering getting back into a bit, and I’m just wondering what it’s like these days? How’s the competition when compared to a couple years ago? Any big changes, news, or things I should know about regarding the industry? Are draftkings and Fanduel still the 2 main sites? How big are the tournaments these days?

Thanks, looking forward to talking to you all again!

    1 game slate contests

The others are bad, but this one feels like such an obvious rip-off. Won’t play them.

Yep, I learned my lesson chasing overlay in last night’s $10 Showdown. Never again!

Been playing since the beginning of dfs this is my last weekend just not fun anymore for me. I make great lineups but see little results in dfs compared to betting in Vegas I’ve become a strictly mma player and that’s it no other sports and this year alone picking the same exact fighters every week on dk and on a parlay bet I’m up 1400$ on my parlay bets and down big on dk. Last week was final straw for me won all 6 of my fights on dk and won a whopping 99cents but with the same exact fighters I won on a parlay in Vegas 800$. The sharks ruined the industry in my opinion and the websites let them do it and still do.

Yup, been playing the tennis on DK over the last two weeks and found that you can pick 6 out of 6 winners and barely get your money back. If, on the other hand, I made a straight bet on the first game and parlayed the proceeds onto the next game, and so on, I’d have gotten 45-1 on the exact same games.

In Vegas it doesn’t matter how many other people win with the same bet you make. It’s not a zero sum game like DFS, and that makes all the difference!
