I think thats going to be to close of a match for me to go heavy on either.

yeah should be a total toss up figured they’d only be a couple hundred apart from each other

Yastremska is gonna end Wozniacki’s career tonight

Probably will but only because I’m taking Woz tonight.

  • skleni

    Wozniacki could be chalky tonight.

Not sure whether Paire can be competitive today after last night’s match.

    What about Garcia against Jabeur?

    wozniacki way too cheap tonight

I saw them play in Cincinnati last year and Yastremska was clearly better—the only thing that kept it competitive was her double faults.

Since then Yastremska’s gotten better and Wozniacki’s gotten older. I don’t Wozniacki’s too cheap by any means.

Has anyone seen a DK tennis achievement begin to register? I just see zeroes (which is similar to my results).

They refresh overnight, and since the day 1 slates didn’t close out until yesterday that means they didn’t start registering until today.

dumb question for a tennis DFS novice…..does it make sense to choose both players from the same match?

IMO, it makes absolutely no sense to ever do that, especially on a slate this large. You essentially have to nail every other match to just cash. You will certainly never win a large slate by doing that.

    Tennis novice here as well.

understand your point…I should have specified that this question applies to tonight’s late (1130pm) slate. My rationale is that I’m stuck on a match that I think may go either way but I like the other 5 that I have chosen. Since both have ACE opportunities and a good %, I’m hoping for a long match with lots of service opportunities.

    edit: other 4

It doesn’t make sense at all. If its a close game, neither player will help you win (even the winner).

Your better bet is to look at another game if you think it’s close, or make two lineups with each player.

  • Kassdog

Make 2 lineups one with each.

I think the only way this can possibly work (where “work” means there’s a theoretical chance of winning a GPP) is if the top 8 favorites all win their matches. If that happens it won’t be possible to choose a lineup with all six winners and the best 5-1 will take it.

I suppose there’s also the possibility that so many underdogs win that all the possible 6-0 lineups left so much salary on the table that no one had one. We probably need all five of the biggest favorites to lose, at a minimum.

To me those odds seem too long to justify the play. Somebody’s going 6-0 in any decent size GPP. I’ve seen 5-1 beat 6-0 on occasion, but you need five really big wins and a good loss to do it and if you’re on both sides of one of your big wins, the corresponding loss isn’t going to be enough.

Anyone got any info for FANDUEL tonight

  • Moneymakers90

    Any Free square today

  • JSteele

A few players I like today

    Jordan Thompson over Fognini

Fabio should be tired after a long 5 set match with the hard serving Reilly Opelka

    Yoshi Nishioka over Dan Evans

Evans is on a bit of a hot streak but Nishioka holds the H2H 2-0. Both players play a similar style, so it’s going to come down to who makes less mistakes. Evans was taken to 5 sets against Mackenzie MacDonald who is a much weaker hard court player in the first round.

  • Yeoman

Yes, I’m finding Thompson in my lineups as well.

Also Ons Jabeur. Garcia’s been in abysmal form for the better part of a year now

  • yisman

Jabuer at 7600 on DK, I like

  • yisman

well that was a mad scramble

the first $15 filled way early

    I had 8 tickets

then they reposted one with like 40 minutes left

so I had to shove in some random lineups

I only came up with like 3 myself.

Plus I was playing a live trivia game while doing it.

  • Kassdog

Well I’m either winning everything or losing everything based on ownerships lol.
