Does anything like this exist yet? As I stated in my blog/letter to the NYT today, I would be all for helping get something like this going. I think most of us can agree that we need to stick together, now more than ever. If people are already working on this, I would love to help. This is the time we should be building walls, not tearing them down.

Also I am aware that the FSTA exists.

I’d like to introduce you to the Daily Fantasy Sports Players Alliance (DFSPA). For more information, please visit www.DFSplayers.org and follow @DFSplayersOrg on Twitter.

Our mission is to represent the DFS player’s perspective at regulatory, legislative, and law enforcement hearings across the country. We testified on behalf of players in Sacramento in mid-December and were instrumental in getting the current DFS bill passed through the Governmental Organizational Committee yesterday.

The DFSPA has been invited to testify in New Jersey next week. Additionally, we were requested to file a brief on behalf of players by the Texas Attorney General that was submitted last month.

We are currently organizing a volunteer State Commissioner program and a DFS Players Council. If you are interested to learn more about either, please contact speakout@DFSplayers.org.

Finally, please note that the FTSA is an industry trade association that represents DFS operators and other DFS service providers. The DFSPA is the only independent grassroots organizations that advocates on behalf of players.
