I can’t believe there isn’t even a thread for this weekend’s race! I thought there would be 30 pages of pent-up degen talk!

So the starting grid is set.

    Any thoughts??

kinda hard to pick the top guys but i like Joey Gase at $4700 starting at 32 to be the big salary saver

I’m new to Nascar but I did well in Iracing which I imagine is completely different so I am going to play a lot of lineups for me…way more than I would usually do for the sports I generally play.

Is an optimizer as beneficial, less beneficial, more beneficial for Nascar? Thanks!

Gonna be a funky race with no qualifying or practice. Hopefully, everyone with behave for a bit.

I was gonna post one but never got around to it.

    Awesome man.

Seriously though, how about some real sports again!!!

Won 8- $10- Million Dollar Race tix so far.
So I’m in with multiple lineups !

Lots of Truex and Newman, but should I be using William Byron ? Or Daniel Suarez ?

My research says no and no from various pods and articles. If we are talking DK. Seems like Jones, Ku Busch are Ty Dillon will be chalk and then its about hitting the correct dominators and pivoting off the potential chalk flops. But I’ve never played a non iracing Nascar contest lol.

Without practice or qualifying this is just a crap shoot.

you’re right. I don’t think I am taking any 1st timers at this track.

These guys haven’t driven a real race car in months and their first race back is at the track too tough to tame. There should be lots of Darlington stripes.

  • kotbo

Yea should be exciting going to get jack and be back!

Anyone else thinks that having Nascar behind an additional paywall during this sports stoppage is beyond ridiculous when premium is $39.90/month and there is next to nothing going on?

  • sharksfansd

Been playing DFS for approx five years or so and on DK my NASCAR entries reflect only .002% of my play. That will change today , as I look forward to playing NASCAR (and PGA) at a much higher clip until one of the big four leagues return

Same….this better for other potential dominators like Bowman, Hamlin, Elliot?

But that’s like 30 PD points that he is not getting today as the most expensive driver

i’d say definately better for anyone starting top10. sure kyle can get back there quickly but lot more chances for something to happen to pass 35 cars.

This race also has roughly 100 less laps.

I also wonder how many people will realize he is getting pushed to the back? The less people who know, the higher the ownership will remain, the more reason to fade or be underweight. The only reason to really still play him a strong amount is for ownership. Obviously he can make it the front, but like tristanwolf mentioned, he’s going to have to work his way through a lot of traffic to get there.

EDIT: Is it 74 less laps today? The 500 is normally 367, and today it’s a 400, so 293 laps?

I don’t think having NASCAR behind a paywall is a BAD thing, however I do think that today’s race would have been a good day to have it free for marketing purposes for Stevie. He def pushes really good content and the boost would have been deserved. That being said I did pay the 15 this week, however like I said would have been good marketing for him to run it free or discounted this week.
