I like him, he’s starting 39th so as long as he stays out of trouble, easier said then done, he should do well.

I think Tyler Reddick from Richard Childress Racing can be a sneaky pick. He showed a lot of single-car speed and has little to lose, running a limited schedule in Cup. (He runs full-time for RCR in the NASCAR Xfinity Series). The defending champion in the Xfinity race from last year, he’s got plenty of success on this superspeedway and has last year’s Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon as a teammate. Don’t count him out.

Real low price with definitely positive place differential.

I used him. If he finishes 22nd I’m very happy.

Sneaky? If he is not 35% owned then people are just……..same with Mears, who by the way is affiliated with RCR

  • Luctyl99

Have 4 guys locked in.. trying to figure out my other 2. Guys I am trying to figure out include logano, Harvick, hamlin, truex, Jimmie, etc. I only play one lineup so it makes it tougher

Mears scares me a bit because he just changed his transmission.. makes me think his equipment isnt the best. It also kind of made me laugh that they said he was starting from the back because of it even though he was already starting there

I don’t see how you dont have a ton of them. Feels like they are both guaranteed a top 10 if they avoid the big wreck (which is obviously way easier said than done)

Even….I would rather use my additional spots on other drivers to be overweight on. If they do good it really comes down to those other drivers you used and hoping you are overweight on the right ones. If they do bad then you are overweight on other drivers that many are not and hopefully you hit the right ones giving you a big advantage.

Jimmie hasn;t finished in the last 3 500’s. I would go Clown Shoes and Sliced Bread.

  • depalma13

Play Byron, Mears and the Fords starting in the front of the outside lane. This is going to be the worst Daytona 500 ever.

  • joephoto

Everybody predicts this will be a boring race until the big wreck.

I bet they are right. I’ll be watching.

kyle has teamate erik jones back there with him

the way all the pre races went

single file most of the way and go down low to die,,fall way back

maybe they can sling shot each other a few times to move up

Based on everything we’ve seen, the wreck of it happens will happen on the last lap

Yep. Always a big one with like 19-21 laps to go. Then a couple more small ones. Personally I like when they get all racy at the start and the wreck happens like 8 laps in. Then I know whether my day is done or not.

Parts of it will be single file…more than what you think will be double wide. They showed yesterday the bottom will work if you get 6-8 cars in line. The drivers today will push it today much more than yesterday. In addition, yesterday was warm and cloudy while today is warm and sunny which means the cars will be harder to handle.

There was so much talk on twitter yesterday about the racing from important people within NASCAR, it won’t be the same as what you saw yesterday for the entire race.

Preece had some fast practice times. What else’s makes you like him. I’m on the fence about it.
