Nothing like having Lee,Kisner and Simpson on the same team then seeing Dunfer on it =/ At Least I went 80 % Lee/Kisner so I’m cashing all my teams right now .

I’ve had a front seat on the KSDT all year long, but after the top 5 at the Players, I thought it could only go down from there, so luckily picked the right time to hop off. I had a medium amount of Dufner, but otherwise avoided just about everyone else and ended up with 30/41 lineups 6/6 and a few real promising ones that I don’t want to jinx too badly. Looking forward to the weekend.

All this Lee talk makes me lol, its almost like you guys think he won’t shoot 85 tomorrow. :) My very first lineup this week had Dufner,Perez,Stanley and Laird in it, i dumped 3 of them but Stanley still got me in the long run. The guy was spotted almost a 4 stroke advantage by weather and showed why no one has ever trusted him. He went full amateur mode bringing it to the house today. There are reasons elite players are elite, they don’t crumble in the middle of a round. Look at Phil probably one of the worst rounds of golf he has had in years with the Putter, but you don’t hear him blaming Bones on every single miss.

only team I like going into the weekend of mine

    Bud Cauley 14.4% T25 (E)
    Brian Harman 9.4% T11 (-2)
    Kevin Kisner 17.2% T1 (-6)
    Danny Lee 13.6% T1 (-6)
    David Lingmerth 1.6% T61 (+3)
    Ryan Palmer

  • CJtheGrump

I’m shocked the cut was +4. Not only that, but +5 was good for 73rd. Makes Dufner’s late double that much more painful.

This is why i need to take a break from DFS golf, I see 5 golfers in that lineup that are not good at golf and would never roster at least 4 of them.

I made this team for that reason . My boys Harman and Cauley overpriced and Lingmerth was my sneaky play ( has a eagle ) should of went with Gmac at $7400 though .

I gave up on my lineup when Martin Laird started out the day +3 to reach +6 for the tournament. Then he sucked me back in with 3 birdies in 4 holes to get back inside the cut line but of course he had to bogey 2 of the final 8 to miss the cut. Now I am stuck with Kisner, Garcia, McDowell all in the top 10 with Schiederjans, and Grillo making it to the weekend as well. Only 13.1% of teams have 6/6 in the $12 single entry Albatross and with a little help from Laird the weekend would have been worth watching. Now I just hope My guys can stay top 10 for a min cash and start to look forward to next week.

3 of my 5/6 are doing pretty well and had Dufner not botched I’d be looking forward to a great weekend.

New rule: first 3 guys I think won’t miss the cut I’m going 0% on.

We usually kinda agree but I think that is a gross overstatement. I think this week you got too caught up in trying to avoid the chalk and overthinking guys who fit the course well.

I’ve said it multiple times in this thread; this event is very different than most events – short hitters and good putters feast here along with the odd longer straighter driver (like a Sergio or Rahm). I posted a list of the winners and runner ups here the last 15-20 years and it is a who’s who of bunters and putters so I didn’t see your List play as being a good fit.

With respect to your 5 are not good golfers comment, not sure who the 5 are but I’ll guess Lingmerth and Lee are bad which I kinda agree but this course is a good Lingmerth fit as he is a shorter straighter kinda guy who has won on bent before and Lee is the Dallas home boy playing decent coming off a good week (I looked at both but didn’t play either).

I’m going to assume one of Kisner and Palmer is the good golfer And I’d say both are very good but like most players they have a course type that best fits them – Kisner hits it very straight which is good here and Palmer is a Texan and great wind player (I played both).

So that leaves Harman and Cauley as not good. I’m a huge Harman fan and he did just win again, he hits it laser straight and besides hitting fairways, when he misses fairways his misses are among the least distance from fairway which is the key stat here needed to play well with all the trees and low hanging branches (Harman was a must play for me). Cauley I’m not a big fan of but is on a 3 top tens in a row heater and playing on a great fit for him plus it is not significantly different from last week so he should have been at least considered.

Personally I like the picks by the Original Poster as all 6 fit here and the only legit complaint would be possibly being too chalky but Lingmerth gave him the lower owned differentiation. The other guys who I played that look and feel like these guys was GMac and Grillo.

Just my 2 cents bud as I’d hate to see your frustration make you quit and you are an asset to the forum.

  • superstars92

That was actually a huge birdie by Rahm on 18. It still gives him a chance at the AU70 bonus, which might make a huge difference at the end because everyone is clustered together and not many golfers have the AU70 bonus chance.

I still think Jordan Spieth wins though. Obviously he’s 4 back and has a smaller chance than Garcia/Rahm/Kisner, but I would totally buy his odds.

I really like were Spieth is sitting going into the weekend and I have no ownership on him. He has battled the first two days in sub par conditions and is tied with the most birdies so far.

I want Grillo to do Grillo stuff tomorrow and get on a run

Lol yea you need to quit if you think there is 5 golfers that are bad in that line up.

    Bud C been crushing
    Brian H been crushing
Kevin K his type of course
Danny L great course history and been playing great .
David L. Course history is great and upticking on recent form.
Ryan Palmer. Playing ok but I think pretty much a home game ?

    All these pics are reasonable

Coming up with a weekend PGA golf LU was interesting. I think I finally got mine done. My biggest issue was that I didn’t want Finau anywhere near it.

Both Yuta and Luck – they played together thru worst tee time and worst of the weather, tied each other and now play together again Saturday.

6/50 went 6/6. I would have had 13 more 6/6 if not for cam smith. Sigh.
