I am glad my +33 can sit next to the KSDT and some of the other weekly things here. I had McDowell in my second to last lineup over Perez. Cost me a 6/6 in my only dog leg entry which is cashing right now. Never giving Perez another shot.

If you guys know anything about me, I am not here to pick fights or make anyone feel bad. Hopefully you guys laugh at some of the things I say. This is my weekly entertainment. Wish we could all win all the time.

Sometimes my information is spot on, while other times, not so much.

I hope Kyle Stanley is getting drunk like I am to get rid of his terrible play

Congrats Da_Derf on the ensuing H2H win. Leave it to me out of 15 LU to use my absolute DFL LU at 150. Brutal week for cash players, just terrible. Dufner just bogeys instead of doubles and I have a shot. Damn it. Let’s hope the weekend is exciting for my GPP teams. Have a couple in the 280’s but most have Perez BLAH.

Lol Thanks. ;) Good luck though with your GPP teams, 280 seems really friggin’ high!

Tony Finau is one of those guys who has been around the top of the leaderboard over the last few months, but he hasn’t won this year. I think after today’s performance, he’s a great example of someone you put in your weekend lineup.

You guys have to watch the golf, follow the leaderboards all week. Sometimes it’s as much about gut and knowledge as all the stats you breakdown.

We usually kinda agree but I think that is a gross overstatement.

My original comment was tongue n cheek. I can see how it doesn’t read that way. I have played Harman a lot in the past couple years in DFS and if any guy can stumble on his pecker coming into the Friday cut he is the guy. Sure this year is the best of his career but I’m not convinced he isn’t playing way above his actual talent level right now. He may be the candidate to be the next KSDT with his garnered popularity here lately. Jury is still out on Bud Cauley and is rising up the current form charts in a hurry.

As far as being contrarian, i showed you my gpp QA teams a few pages ago, sure ill be all kinds of contrarian with that. My favorite three golfers this week were Sergio, Kisner and Casey. I had Perez and Snedeker before I broke for weather and switched up. I rarely ever talk about plays unless I’m confident in them, so that is why I didn’t mention List a single time before the death squad collected him up on thursday morning for me. To be honest it was going to be laird or list in that spot so either move would have killed my lineup.
    Sergio
    Kisner
    Ollie
    Ryan Moore
    KSDT
    List

Other than list how am I being too contrarian? 30 minutes before lock time i switch Casey/Perez for Kisner/Ollie.

Obviously you didn’t have him for the Players Championship. He literally can hit 18/18 greens all inside 10 feet and walk away with 3 birdies on teh day.

Very true, and I agree about Finau. I’ve been using the guy all year and he always comes so close, eventually he will win one, and he’s also very streaky

Is there an MDF this week?

Didn’t play him this week either. I didn’t see that coming. But that’s what makes weekend golf great. You get to see how a player does after 2 rounds. Give me someone 3 shots or more back who you think can win not named Jordan Spieth this weekend. I see Finau as a great possibility.

I do agree he is the perfect type player for weekend contests though. Especially on bentgrass like this week.

Because of the shorter course, everyone got off bomber Finau this week. After one round it looked like we were all right about that, but he did his contrarian thing now on Friday. So now it’s time to jump on the FWT.

It will be fun to see how this weekend shapes up. So many guys right there at teh top, some really big names and some you wouldn’t really expect like Scott Piercy, looks like he finally decided to stop shooting in the 80s. He may be the sleeper of the week. He got hot exactly this time last year before and during the US Open.

I really am rooting for Casey even though he has the Americans hate him narrative going. He seems like a nice guy. Only thing i have against him is he helped Webb Simpson find his swing today during his round and he talked about it in his interview. Watch the link.

    -6 is your fault Paul

What do you guys think of JT Poston and Cauley for weekend golf, Cauley caught fire today and Poston has shown that he can score well here

love the finau weekend play also nick taylor who seems to like the saturday sunday. side note i played hs football with a guy named john moeaki who is brother of tony moeaki from university of iowa who spent several seasons in nfl, and both are cousins with tony finau and jabari parker (nba), so they have some crazy athletic talent in the family. helps that they all are like 6’2” or more (jabari is 6’8”) . somoan or tongan descent i think.

I am guessing most people aren’t gonna be on a guy after he had a +6 round. Probably would be lower owned as far as JT is concerned.

I’m thinking about it for value, not sure if I’ll even need it though, might go balanced with all the guys priced at top being in the top 10

There is always someone that goes out early who shoots well. You want to have at least 1 or 2 that’s out there early.

Yeah you’re right, I keep landing at 8K for my last spot but I have no idea who to play in that range. Who do you like the most between guys like Sned, Ollie, Tway, Moore, Griillo and Hoffman?

  • Jacobkaiser1325

    Think I’m leaning Sned
