Because the top guys haven’t played yet?

Wait until all the good players start playing. There are very few good players on the course right now. And the good ones out there are on the way harder back 9.

Only DJ (who’s leading), Brooks (who has the easy stretch but screwed up 18 already), Scott (who’s -1), Kuchar (who went birdie birdie just now and has the easy stretch), JT (who hasn’t played the easy holes yet) and Spieth out there. Maybe Oosty if you consider him good.

But we’ve got Rickie/Rory/Day/Hideki/Casey/Rahm all up later.

I get that but there are still goes going +3 and +4 through 9 holes. That hasn’t really happened previous years

  • superstars92

I hope Brooks isn’t in trouble on that easy hole. That should be an auto birdie for him if he just finds the fairway or intermediate rough.

EDIT: wow what a terrible hole for Brooks and Berger.

Well Rory was +4 through 3 holes last year and won the tournament, so anything is possible.

Hoffman shot +9 last year and he’s a former winner, so I guess things can get hard too.

He screwed up three shots then almost holed his par from the bunker, will bogey

I know we talk about it all the time but these logjams on the leaderboard early really make the teams slide up and down so quick. I’m ready for Kisner to get going!

I’m still blown away at Kraft taking a 12 on that par 5. I get it that golf is hard but I’m not sure I’ve ever played with anyone that took a 12 let alone ever get one myself.

Well he ain’t done yet he keeps racking up the bogeys.

no reason to even open draftkings until the end of day 3 imo. I rarely have it loaded.

I have been there. You just go mental block for like 15 minutes and forget how to play golf. I think I went OB 3 times off the tee and it just steamrolled. More embarrassing than anything else.

Don’t have the discipline haha The thing is I don’t expect it to stay like that so I’m ok living in the moment. Some asshat always seems to ruin your “best” lineup even if it’s a day they just shoot E or something.

at my home course we have a road hole that is a 300 yard par 4 but the OB is only 10 yards left of the green. I have hit a double OB off the tee there before in an invitational tourney and it ruined my day. Made a 9.
