Ok think back when you were picking players.
Assuming Kisner (32) wins [I see Kuchar (16) just AS on 17th]. My general point remains the same regardless.
Now look at the rankings in the final 8.
    2, 13, 28, 32, 35, 45, 46, 58.
    (28) vs (35)
    (2) vs (45)
    (13) vs (46)
    (58) vs (32)

I wouldn’t get overly disappointed for not nailing those players.

    $400k through to Elite 8:
    6/6: 0
    5/6: 3 lineups (1 is 4/4 eligible, 2 can only have 3/4 in final 4)
    4/6:0.09%
    3/6:1.35%
    2/6:10.32%
    1/6:37.63%
    0/6:50.60%

    Best case for final 4:
    4/4:0.02% (15 lineups)
    3/4:0.83%
    2/4:9.45%
    1/4:39.1%
    0/4:50.60%

    If Shitracker is correct
Stanley just drove 42 yards further then Thomas, and 54 yards closer to the hole. 0,o

Well I’m a huge Bubba fan today!!! The other I guess “good” news is that I will have a guy make it to the final 4 for sure since I have the Stanley/JT matchup in the same lineup. I feel like that might be somewhat common?

  • jdubadubs

I have 3/21 with 3 golfers left, all from different quadrants, trying to salvage break even

On the same team? That is really good.

For you Corales event players, I’m looking at a relatively unknown Tyler McCumber

    Went to Univ of Florida
26yr old Son of 10-time PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber
Played in Canada last year on Mackenzie Tour
Playing this year on the PGA Tour LatinAmerican tour
On a bit of a heater the last week and a half
Won the Pre-Qualifier to just play in the 4-spot Qualifier
Shot 65 in that PreQualifier to (medal) win by 2 on Mar 7th
Then shot 67 in the 4-spot qualifier to win it by 1 shot last Mon Mar 12
That got him into Corales event this week
Then still travelled to a PGA LatinAmerican event & finished T4 on Mar 15-18
Worth 1-2 bullets at $7100 to see if he stays hot

I know a few guys in the Corales tournament thread played McCumber, hope a few others did here as well.

He just made bird to get to -12 and T3rd along with 3 Eagles and 1 BOFR so far and all at 0.4% ownership

Stanley could beat JT and win both matches and the Tournament tomorrow and still not pass JT in points if all the matches are close.

    $400K stat from jdubadubs post.
    $400k through to Elite 8:
    6/6: 0 lineups
    5/6: 3 lineups (1 is 4/4 eligible, 2 can only have 3/4 in final 4)
    [$400K 3-5/6. 3/95,100 entries = 0.003% or 99.7% however you wish to interpret]
    [$10K 1-5/6. 1/3963 entries = 0.0025% or 99.75% however you wish to interpret]
Again these are not perfect percentages but paints a clear enough picture.

I agree with you that its fairly amazing no matter which way you look at it.
But its still only final 8 remember.

Yeah I did because of your info, but sure was not easy pulling that trigger on the Weekend contests.
2nd most points on my 5 teams I put him on.
    George McNeill 1.8% 18.5 Pts. Thru 14.
    Brice Garnett 31.6% 19.5 pts Thru 10.
    Patrick Rodgers 26.8% 18.5 pts. Thru 16.

Crazy. Only had 1 guy get through the round robin and I’m moving up the leaderboard. Didn’t see that coming.

Same with me! All I have is Noren and I’m moving up the leader board

now Poulter decides to suck. needed that 1 round ago.

C’mon Cam, just one more upset. Pull it out!

Jesus f-ing Christmas, this. Poulter singlehandedly screws me across the board and NOW decides that he’s actually Ian f-ing Poulter

  • Wander_Bread

my local through up a line for kisner poulter like 4 minutes before the tee time and luckily i saw it and smashed kisner. too easy seemed lilke poulter was playing out of his ass and kis was impressive.

Nice short miss by Cam Smith there. only have Noren left in my lineups so need him to make it to tomorrow to salvage some money – already have a handful of H2Hs that are locked up as they had no one left after the round of 16

I rode with Cucumber in a lineup cause of your post. 6/6 with Cucumber and your fellow Canuck Conners – hoping Garnett continues his back 9 struggle tomorrow and can finish with 1/2 in my lneup

Is the consultation match for third on DK awarding points?

Yes, the final 4 will all get 2 more rounds to get points

  • FourthnGoal

So there’s no difference in points on who wins tournament.

  • BIF

    @FourthnGoal said...

So there’s no difference in points on who wins tournament.

Winner of the tourney gets 2 wins tomorrow so +10 points while 2 guys only get 1 win and the double loser will not earn any match-win points.

Also embedded in that is extra hole win points that winners will get over losers so there is a bonus to getting this far and winning.

  • BIF

Missed most of the afternoon matches as I was in vehicle but tried to follow along at stops – Happy with results besides seeing JT is still alive.

I have multiple lineups still going with Bubba and Noren so that is my preferred final.

My 5/6 got beat up and beat down to a 2/6 in the morning with Garcia and Kooch losing after both battling back from 2 and 3 holes down.
