Winner of the tourney gets 2 wins tomorrow so +10 points while 2 guys only get 1 win and thebdouble loser will not earn any match-win points.

Also embedded in that is extra hole win points that winners will get over losers so there is a bonus to getting this far and winning.

True but for example JT owners could hope for scoring shootout with bubba and losing match and a possible play against Kisner and then dominating him like 8 to 7 just a thought I think consultation game should be half the points

True – the scoring is not an exact science but the Final 4 will be the 4 highest point guys overall because they already have 4-5 wins and barring getting beat 8&7 twice tomorrow, they’ll all gain more points.

So Crcounts up 50 pts and having the only final 4 must have this locked up correct?
    Sorry probably pretty obvious.

Yup – nice position to be in; a rare occurrence to have a GPP locked up a day in advance !

Johnlibke has a train of 13 sitting 28th with Kisner Thomas Watson. Currently winning approximately $3K.
Austinryder has a train of 20 sitting 117th with Smith Thomas Watson. Currently winning approximately $3K
I would not call that ballsy. I would call that the worst pre-tournament strategy.
They must have forgot or was unable to make teams.

    Dandogg617 has a train of 2 tied alone in 3rd for $35.000.
Dandogg617 having 3rd & 4th money, right there made the already abysmal chance of 4 people getting a top 4 exponentially so much lower that it would pain me to do the math.

Just got home. Holes remaining aren’t updated are they?

Poulter in the Masters… oh wait, no he’s not. Imagine going on a run like that, thinking you’re in the Masters field, and then being told you’re not in.

I just looked at that, amazing. I scrolled down to ninth place, and a super nice payday of $700 for beating 95117 players. Finished in top .01%. In Las Vegas you could have picked up $40k if my numbers are right. Still had fun this week with this format, even with losing 60% of investment.

No, appears they’re only adjusting when the next round begins (tomorrow morning). They did the same thing today after morning rounds (didn’t adjust until quarters started in afternoon)

I have 7/20 shares of Noren. I have to believe they all at least min cash, right? Especially if he wins.

Also – could JT end up outscoring Noren even if Noren wins? JT has a ridiculous DK score lead on the others.

  • noddy

So if you have 1/4 is it possible to move down tomorrow?

  • whodat2

0/6 here and left today winning 4 h2hs. Get back home and now I am winning 6 h2hs. WTF, did somebody back up?

  • JimKronlund

We knew there would be someone in Final 4 we did not expect.
I guess a case could be made for maybe everyone in the field in this format.
I tried to pick outside the box with Hadwin 9/23 and DJ 1/23.
Full fades of Thomas, Spieth, Sergio, and Noren obviously did not work out.

    But I never considered Kisner (32) 1.6%.
    03/15 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard CUT 74 76 0 0 22.5 pts.
    03/01 World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship 29 70 71 66 74 65.0 pts.
    02/22 The Honda Classic CUT 79 70 0 0 16.0 pts.
    02/08 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am CUT 71 75 70 0 44.0 pts.

Go Bubba Go. My only pick remaining and on 1 team. May make me a cool $8 at best.
A fascinating Golf event to follow from a DSF perspective.

That’s why I’m focusing more on random, particularly with an event like this, and again with Masters. I’m sure I don’t have much support here in my corner, because most discussions here are laser focused on certain players and their fit for courses and such. I’m also not saying I’m making much money, but I at least gave myself some shots I probably wouldn’t have otherwise had. Golf is golf – so hard to predict. Out of the final 4, my 20 lineups have the following remaining:

4 with JT; 1 of which has Kisner
2 with Bubba; 1 of which has Noren
    1 more Kisner alone
    1 more Noren alone

Edit – ha, had this wrong- I guess I’m pulling for a JT/Kisner final

I’d also like some info on who is getting their wisdom pulled this week.

  • noddy

Good luck everyone today. I know this isn’t the Masters thread, but I have 3 players that I am rooting for there. I will have 100% of all 3 and mix and match other golfers with them.

  • Wander_Bread

Wow Kisner and Noren both locked in. Kisner making everything

3 straight birdies for each player

They certainly are. Crazy how good they are and poor Noren can’t make up any ground.

Noren only guy I have on a roster left so rooting for him. Only had 7 entries overall but Noren is who I hope can win this.

I am in the exact same boat. 5th birdie in a row for Noren finally wins him a hole and gets him back to AS. Looks like Kis may be up against a tree on the next hole as well after his drive.

uncharacteristic miss for Kisner. Door open for Noren. Let’s kick that sucker in.

  • Wander_Bread

Kis missed a shorty for par and Noren is 1 up now

  • Wander_Bread

Kis seems to be slipping a bit after a 2nd poor drive in a row

  • Wander_Bread

I am going to bet on Noren to win the Masters today. So impressed with his game and can get 45/1

  • lfn1992

Nothing, NOTHING I would love better than a Noren/Bubba final
