To get some of the higher priced guys to fit, you had to back off a bracket maybe 2 to get the pricing right. Right wrong or indifferent I’m looking at Hoffman, List and Xander to fill some of those. I can’t ignore DJ, Rory, Phil, even Reed this week as he seems to rise to the top in this type of competition. Spieth isn’t on, DJ either, but I will have some. This was a brain draining week for me.

ZJ n DJ square off early, those numbers show some losers

DJ won’t play ZJ because neither are making it out of group play

Is anyone picking 4 guys from one side of the bracket and 2 on the other? Or 3 per side?

Someone come and take my h2h’s in the league. Still have two available.

Ok I took one but it would have been much faster and simpler if I just sent you $5 by Paypal.

Idk, maybe I’m just retarded but im totally not getting it. If I put in my picks it looks like 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, 5 plays 6 and so on and so on…. good week to skip if you ask me

    🤔
Maybe you should just play the Corales event this week ?

  • Dewoc19

What is there to know about this scrub event? What type of stats to target for the hasbins and wannabes?

  • Bastardo

Love Spieth this week. He knows he has to get it together with Augusta 2 weeks away. He’s got to be itching just watching all the other big guns playing well lately.

Yes lots of them but no more than 2 from any quadrant and at least 1 from every quadrant

He just committed to playing in Houston next week so maybe he doesn’t plan on being here long ? 😂

Justin Rose did as well for Houston but he is off this week.

This is how it’s done! I did 20 by hand. My strategy was to start with two guys I thought had a chance in two of the quads, then filled in appropriately. Made sure if two guys in same quad, they were either top 8 or bottom 8. This probably won’t work, but at least I thought about it.

Like if I were to take Spieth/Rahm (example only), I would tend to avoid other golfers from their quads. Then I’d get two from top left of bracket and two from top right. More gambling on 2/16 to make it through in the non-stud quads. Did this 20x with different guys to start 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Yup exactly

Pick 1 guy from each corner of the brackets you like to win or go far and then find 2 guys that fit salary wise who won’t meet any of my picks until Round of 8 Saturday afternoon

Ok last time I try to help

Print the Printable Bracket on PGATour.com home page
Write all the salaries in on it
Pick a guy from each quadrant (Top Left, Bottom Left, Top Right, Bottom Right)
Then find 2 more guys from different quadrants that fit salary wise making sure they won’t play your already selected guy until Round of 8 ( the Quarterfinals)

  • shadowchap1978

Picked one guy from each quadrant… and two others who I hope can make it out of their 1st round/second round matchup. Cha Ching lol… is it masters week yet?

I don’t think GAME in wise, 4/2 or 3/3 makes a difference, as it wouldn’t if you picked 2/4… Actually looking forward to finding teams with all 6 on one side… Hell, I had to double check mine just to make sure I didn’t have a mistake.

Beginning of the week you said 10% screw-ups and Lex ??? saig 70% or something close. I bet there are at least 15 – 20% Although, max players wont make those mistakes, I would hope. Still, even a 5/1 is bad play in ??? No ?

4/2 or 3/3 or 2/4 is exactly the same as long as none of them can meet each other before the Quarterfinals – regardless which way you do it, only 4 can make it to Sunday so as long as you have one in each quadrant it doesn’t matter which side the other 2 are from with the one disclaimer of not meeting each other until Sat afternoon

I posted it in the Masters thread already but FYI Brooks WD from the Masters today because of his lingering wrist injury – dang that field is small, gonna need to be perfect to cash a Milly (or a share of it).

Fantasy Feud used to have a contest for this… 2 years ago I won by several points, even without the winner (had 3 of final 4 – easier than it seems with pick 10 format). 3 years ago I finished pretty much DFL. The chance for carnage is way higher than you think… in 2015 Spieth, Stenson, Bubba, Rose, Day, DJ, Scott, Sergio, Kuchar and Reed all lost in the 1st round as top seeds and the quarterfinals on one side of the bracket had seeds 48, 50, 54, and 60. Bet the 6/6 percentage would have been below 1% for a theoretical DK contest. If most of the chalk misses it might be possible to win with 3 or even 2 of the final 4. I think you obviously want to have guys from all 4 brackets but punting 2 spots might be viable (or just playing a weird ass LU with guys in terrible spots and hoping for a train wreck).

WOW, Austin isn’t no place to be with all the BS Bombings… Another tonight at FEDEX
