Whats’s the rest? Feel like I have a dupe… Day, Finau, Mats, Watson?

Rcb instead of Finau. Rest is same.

  • Bastardo

Freakin pathetic so far. Come on golf dfs gods

  • Dewoc19

2 lineups, best went 3-1-2 so not great, other went 3-3-0, pretty terrible

  • mnstone14

how much of a hole are you in if a golfer lost todays much? Do the guys that make it out of the opening round usually go 3-0?

  • noddy

Overall my teams are below avg after today. Multi entered a couple GPP’s and i am barely cashing any of them. The great thing about match play is that can all change tomorrow. At least I have something to follow at work most of the day. Was off today due to the snow and thank God there’s golf to follow along or I’d hate going back even more than I already do.

  • noddy

I hope they have weekend golf for this match play. Anyone know?

I would doubt it since there will only be 16 guys to pick from

I don’t that would be it. Heck they have contests for one basketball game. If they can get rake they don’t care how many guys there are to pick from

Boy this thing is insanely top (and rake) heavy… I have 99th place(.1%), 2 more in the top 600(.6%), 4 more in the top 4%,+ a few mincashes and I’m barely doing better than break-even (25 LUs).

    1 6-0 (Bubba/Chappell/Sergio/Casey/RCB/Hatton)
3 5-0-1 (ZJ more points than Casey or Sergio)
    2 5-1-0
    9 with 4-5 Wins + Halves
    8 3 Wins + Halves
    2 Duds

Obviously a good start but DK rake plus structure is so depressing… feels like I should be doing great but with 16% to house, ~33% (pre rake) to top 4, and ~25% for sub 2x mincashes there’s hardly anything left to win (~26% of total pool for the top 8% of LUs, excluding top 4).

Your in a hole as they said on the radio only 4 out of 32 in since they changed the format have won the group when losing Wednesday. But then again the 6/6 % to the round of 16 will be tiny so you can still cash without 6 group winners. But if you want a piece of the 100K you probably need to be perfect or close to it.

This is exactly why I stopped multi entering anything and solely do 1 lineup. If you multi enter and don’t hit a top 10 spot breakeven or just over is your cap for the week with how top heavy tournaments are. Unless you run a super tight core so either all cash or none then you might hit 2-4X without a top finish.

Quite a few go 2-1 and win a tie breaker or playoff. But your certainly not looking great if you start 0-1

I said two days ago 90% of players will lose money because of top heavy structure. This is a great format this week, but most everyone ,will lose money and blame it on contest. I looked at Masters and they have some very good balanced payouts I can not afford $750 max entry to give myself a chance this week.
Edit. Not talking about top heavy milli

    How are tiebreakers determined?

If both golfers are 2-1 but one golfer beat the other in match play, do they still play a playoff, or is the tiebreaker the golfer who beat the other golfer in matching play?

I read on here earlier that it is a playoff no matter what the head to head score was.

  • Quadhole

The lineups at the top of the 5$GPP look familiar… CASH any other week !

Looks like they changed it a couple years ago so h2h record does not come in to play.

    Sudden death playoff

I had not even looked at it, figuring everyone was playing, it would be fine. If you don’t finish at least 8th out of 95,124 entries it isn’t worth it. LOTTERY at best… Football drew me in, Golf seemed like it would be fun, and it is HERE
Chances to win are just getting ridiculous…

Keeps it more interesting. If you are 1-1 and guy that beat you is 2-0,no since showing up for Friday

  • walkoff9

Just realized nobody won in woodlands pool. So that’s good at least

Congrats to those that went 6-0 and 5-1. That’s good stuff.

    Trying to go thru all mine; I see a 5-0-1, a few 4-0-2 and a couple 5-1

Also a bunch of 3-1-2 and 4-1-1 where Rory is my loss so I think those are still very alive as he made 5 straight birds before his par on 17 that ended the match.

CHIII with 28.45 pts and Phil with only 9.00 pts. Who’d a thunk that one.

CH3 was super cheap for his talent level – guys with no win equity are good match play players as they are steady players.

I played about 8 lineups with CH3 and only a couple Phil

Nope as only 16 golfers so there will be a million dupes when you factor in salaries plus you could lose all your guys after 1 round

  • BIF

Going 6-0 or 5-0-1 right now is great but in reality you are still a long way from those guys getting through as your 1-0 guy in a group is likely only tied with the other 1-0 so the important match for them is yet to come. Of course 1-0 is still better than 0-1 or a half.
