    I would like to understand how and why Rotogrinders continues to do business with FanDuel. By doing so you are complicit.

    The facts :

    Consistent outages averaging almost one per week for over a year

    Zero explanation for what happened and what was fixed, including a plan of action to prevent this from happening daily

    While they said today that their stat provider is down – why can’t they show ownership on players? This is THEIR platform.

    How do we know there is any transparency and lineups aren’t being altered?

    How do we know hacks aren’t occurring to improve lineups in game?

    Why is the community Ok with this?

    There are options:

    1) Mass chargebacks – hit them in wallet

    2) Demand transparency and pressure state AG office to create regulation that makes showing ownership mandatory at start times.

    3) Demand better from Rotogrinders. Where is the FanDuel management team ? Get them on here now to answer these questions.

    They are hiding and need to be exposed.

    Most likely their ownership display is tied to the start of the games and therefore tied to the stat provider.

    When you make paranoid accusations straightaway, you obscure your other more rational complaints.

    They probably need to upgrade their servers to be able to handle more traffic. It’s no secret that NFL is the most popular sport to play fantasy, the outages are generally Sunday morning.

    Anyway, if you don’t like it, don’t play it. They are not going anywhere anytime soon. If you think they are purposely shutting the servers to manually change lineups or changing them midgame you should be able to get proof

    Most likely – but the point is, we don’t know. and we should know. Nothing paranoid at all. But leaves the door open for all sorts of guessing when your corporation is not transparent.

    re-read my post. I didn’t say they are purposely shutting their servers. This has gone on with multiple sports for over a year and no details, process or transparency has been provided. This industry needs significantly more than self-oversight.

    With the millions of dollars involved, there has to be more transparency. Saying “don’t play there” doesn’t change the fact this is a corporation that needs to be held accountable and RG should also be asking questions as well. Huge reputational risks. Enough is enough.

    They are a technology company. Their main platform consistently isn’t accurate. Would you trade stock if you didn’t know the price you sold/received and the company didn’t tell you?

    You SHOULD force their management to explain why their product consistently (this has been going on all year) fails – MLB this year, NBA, NFL, CFB – always “stat providers” fault. Yet no ownership % displayed for hours, no one from FD EVER giving amy reason as to why thus keeps happening.

    I’m calling out RG for being so chummy with FD that they can’t see they are in bed and taking rake $ and referral traffic dollars from a company that has zero transparency and refuses to show their face or answer any questions on your site. Wouldn’t you want to know why this happens every week? Do you simply partner with any DFS or betting provider that provides you revenue? Is there any due dilligence?

    I’m most upset that everyone seems just fine allowing this behavior to happen and the enablers just blow it off. It tarnishes your brand as well when you promo all their nonsense non stop. They have chosen to not communicate and simply don’t care. So, that’s not alarming to RG as their partner?

    I want to hear from Fanduel management. Q&A, a freaking thread here, ANYTHING. Why are you a sports technology company that cannot provide sports technology?

    Again, there is plenty RG can do to engage with a huge partner. If you have been hiding under a rock, this is far from a singular tech issue. This is a fundamental problem operating a sports technology company with zero regard for service. You should be advocating for users on this site who still play on FD. Sitting on your hands saying “we can’t do anything” is just utter BS lip service.

    Draftkings stats provider is Stats Perform and unless it changed,FanDuel’s provider is Opta.
    DK has issues today too,their DK Live has been down
    No NFL stats on DK Live.

    RG has been a great company and a helpful, friendly place to learn DFS. I’m not going to be upset with them over something not in their control.

    All sites have some tech issues at times.Its unfortunate and rightfully frustrating to many,but technology is never flawless.

    I am reminded of the site that Phil (con) Ivey started——everyone knew his past— and the site was still touted —-but I don’t think FANDUEL is of that ilk—-they will make it good.

    I went to the FD home page and at the bottom their stats supplier is identified as Stats Perform (click on the link to see for yourself.) I had no trouble with real time updates to my DK contests. So if indeed both sites use the same stats provider, what is really going on?

    I have a few entries in the FanDuel basketball finals tonight. They are updating perfectly fine. No problem. I’m calling bullshit

    I’d be willing to bet every dollar I have this has nothing to do with the stat provider in everything to do with FanDuel. They do the same stupid stuff time and time again.

    Given all the problems they’ve had in the past 3 months trying to blame it on the stat company is ridiculous.

     We’re not that stupid FanDuel

    DK KBO contests are still frozen. In fact, last night’s contests all show a big fat zero. And from what I hear DK college contests have not paid out.

    It seems like a lot of people are using baseball and CFB winnings to play NFL and they weren’t able to do that today. So some of them had to deposit money. Not seeing live stats also apparently hindered late swaps.

    I had $320 on contests today. Cashed out $500 from a good day on Thursday (thankfully). I’ve never experienced this from FD and been playing for years. Weird that some of you are saying it happens weekly. I play weekly, lol. This is a bit concerning though.

    I don’t really understand blaming RotoGrinders for a third-party stat provider outage on FanDuel. I understand you are saying you want RotoGrinders to hold FanDuel accountable, but wouldn’t it make more sense for the actual consumers of the product to do that?

    There seems to be a lot of paranoia here that FanDuel is trying to do something shady. What benefit would it be to them to have a massive failure on an NFL weekend and lose a ton of money due to angry consumers and make goods?

    The same thing is happening to DraftKings on their KBO product. I still haven’t gotten paid out from the last two slates. But I’m not going to blame another party or assume they are trying to cheat me somehow. All I can do is reach out to their costumer service or simply not play anymore if I don’t like/trust the product.
