He jumped out to me in my model over 24 and 36 rounds as well. Was too scared to pull the trigger on him, though. Svensson is the only sub 7k player I took this week.

On a 2nd note, any of you gents finally starting to catch onto to the FED, Bank, QE, QT, interest rate, money, etc. debacle going on for the past 20 years ? Has it started to sink in yet ? Preparing for the inevitable ?

    what exactly is the inevitable?

The research utilizing the shotlink data is pretty sparse if you go checkout google scholar.

Yeah, I’ve read their legaleze on their site – they make you destroy the data after as well, etc.

and as for the research, I’ve read every public one that I am aware of.

I can think of two that weren’t useless – the one that led to shots gained (which people still argue about), and a separate one which in itself wasn’t useful but it had a writeup about other papers and from there I saw some neat stuff.

I am not convinced that data has helped me at all (the shotlink data that I can get – which may not be as complete as what they gave access to for research).

Doing something I never do this week… playing showdown cash! It’s as easy as playing the LQ course right?! That’s what I’m doing so let’s see if that strategy can hold lol

Hoping I picked the right guys though but if LQ scores are the best I should be golden!

Won’t you more than likely be playing someone else with team loaded with LQ golfers?

    20 lineups
    I’m 50% Rahm and 0% Rose
Of the guys you listed, I have some Piercey and Wise but zero Glover/Haas.

I’m having a ton of trouble backing Rose after a long layoff with new golf clubs on courses that are a Birdie fest – he isn’t the best Putter normally and I can’t trust him to make the necessary 20+ birdie putts over 3 different courses that he has never played before all with new clubs where hitting it that extra 2-3 feet closer can mean the difference between a 64 and a 70.

Well no h2hs so not exactly. I’m was talking triple up and double up. I think a lot will but there will be some who just take it like a normal week. Regardless I like my picks anyway so I’m feeling confident.

I know the Stadium Course has higher scores, but is there an actual scoring difference between LQ and NT?

There is not a huge difference each year but LQ is considered the easiest of the 3 and has had the lower scoring average the last couple years I believe

I think the edge in doing that would only be in single or 3-max stuff as any 10+ Max Entry contest will be hammered by the big DFS players stacking the same course as you.

Edit – Just looked at the contest offerings, there is not much to choose from

The big $5 Drive The Green on DK is gonna be full in about 20-30 mins so if you want more bullets, better get in now….

I kind of like Sugjae IM to put up some points this week… I also have Hudson Swafford(I just threw up in my mouth a little bit) I like Patrick Cantlay to win this week. So you should probably full fade him if your smart.

No there isn’t but I’m “el cheapo” (a nice Mexican saying whilst trying to be sold something there from somebody approaching you) anyway so it’s quarters for me and $1 triple and doubles. Maybe not the advantage I’m hoping for but one nonetheless. FWIW all my golfers are playing LQ besides one who is playing NT. Most of the guys I liked were playing LQ anyway.

I’ve never liked the guy and think the only times I’ve played him he has been a MC or WD adding to my hatred.

I realize he bounced back last year after a 2 year Masters hangover but this event has not really been a big event (success wise) for European players especially from British Isles so I didn’t play many Euros.

I do have a lot of Rahm as I think of him almost as a US player since he has been there most of the past 6 years and has had some success in desert type locations here and globally.

Laird and Rahm are my only Euro born guys this week.

  • Wander_Bread

Ended up gettin off of Hossler. Rahm / Spaun / Cauley / Munoz are the golfers I am liking the most this week at their price levels.

    Best of luck guys

I’ve been called a “Mexican Nightmare” by a Mexican jewellery store owner – he wanted like $250 for something my wife liked and I told him “Four dollars” and every time he dropped his price, I just kept saying four dollars and he was getting pissed off so I finally said “ok five dollars”. Think I paid $40 in the end and as I was paying him he says “you sir, are a Mexican Nightmare”.

Just think of all the tinkering and slamming of more entries in that you can do on company time ! 🤔
