For those who haven’t read my article this week (here’s a link), I am proposing a DFS tournament for all of you not playing in million-dollar tourneys. So, I ask you:

    1. to read my article
    2. suggest a site, format and price for this tournament
    3. come along for the fun

It’s time for the nickel-and-dimers to stand and have your own chance to shine! Rise up!

    I welcome your comments.

duckie you are correct, we need a championship for the guys that dont want to enter 50 different lineups at 27 dollars each.

tourny should be easy , 2 dollars to enter the qualifier you can have a couple weeks of qualifiers say the top 100 finishers in the qualifiers enter into the championship but you can only qualify once for the championship.

then you would have say 200 different entries into a championship top 50 guys get something

give the winner some cash and a trophy with a golden rubber duck on top….. haha

In! My only real view is that it be single entry.

Would be cool if they had a week 1 survivor qualifier for like $5 that pays out $1,500 main event seats. 30,000 entries and top half advances each week until it’s down to 300 players that all get $1,500 tickets.

$5 entry. If possible run a few qualifiers this Sunday. The winners then play the 14th for the prize. Not sure how it would work with qualifiers and such but I think it would be fun to have to qualify instead of buying directly in. Also depends how many people would participate

  • fizzle13

Yeah I’d be down for a $5-$10 Q to a single entry tourney. I prefer DK for the ppr. They’ve tightened up pricing a little here lately.

Fanduel gets my vote, as more people play on it.

If it’s the same day as the fffc I would recommend we play on fd with the same format i.e. No Sunday night or Monday night in player pool

    In. Don’t care what site.

    No kickers either!

  • jon1303

I’m in. Either DK or FD. Doesn’t matter to me

  • nvetta

Either site is fine. $5-10 would be perfect. Definitely single entry. A qualifier style sounds good. Maybe 2 weeks of qualifiers with championship in week 16, same time as season long championships.

  • Greg1212

Sign me up… preferably FD because I have $$ on there! Single entry for sure! May the best Lineup win!

  • Newgeneration82

If people do not want to use the kicker position, it should probably gravitate towards DK. 5 or 10 bucks would be perfect with a single entry format. Like someone said above, we should try to stay inline with the championships that are going on and stay Sunday only. Maybe a night sweats show for the common man’s championship too????

  • jcmbball9

    DK single entry for $5

  • wikingfan

FD, sunday only, single entry $5.

Since my ideas never get anywhere due to sheer laziness, feel free to borrow the #letitride format I proposed mid-summer.

Week 1 – a series of $5 five-man tournaments at whatever entry fee you determine (winners all take home $22.50).
Week 2 – $10 entry winner take all with just the winners from week 1

Winner should definitely get a wrestling style title belt.
