Unless I am just not seeing a topic on this it appears that DFS in New York is under fire yet again. Games appear to be playable now from the state but the future appears to be very uncertain at this time. Thoughts?

Might be missing something, but not sure why the industry/legislature dont start the process of trying to amend the state constitution now given the reasonably likely chance that they are going to eventually lose the case and the likely length of time it takes the appeals to play out. Otherwise when the appeals run out its an auto two year shutdown in NY at minimum.

Also not really left wing judges, but that’s neither here nor there.

So you don’t think there is any chance they don’t just pull the plug again in NY?

Definitely a chance, but very small. Legal bs going on in the state.

They aren’t going to pull the plug in NY while they appeal, there is no reason too, but they are close to 100% to pull the plug if they lose appeals. DFS is actually a huge money loser for DraftKings, the value of the site is tied up in sports gambling, they arent going to operate illegally and put sports gambling at risk by risking being labeled a bad actor.
