Do you grinders think it is a waste at this point to keep playing Draftkings DFS basketball at this point of the season? Had a decent run the first 2 rounds but now being in the conference finals losing more money than winning. Should the focus be shifted to baseball or PGA contests now? I am beginner DFS player this year. Sucks losing money in contests to lineups that are using $2K scrub players in multiple spots on DK.

If you’re playing at this point I would definitely keep the stakes low and take some chances. More than likely, the best lineup is going to be ugly because there are only so many options with two games on the slate and tight rotations. There’s definitely less skill involved at this point but if you can spot a decent value play (tonight was Ezeli) then you could be rewarded. For $2-5 bucks, there are worse shots to take, but only if you’re enjoying it. But definitely don’t enter large tourneys and play safe LUs. Very low possibility of yielding a sizable return.

Nope I’ll play until I die.

I logged on today and now I see $3 NBA Shot with a 1st place prize of $10K. It is now chopped in half. I’m definitely done playing if that’s all I can get considering everyone will be chopping prizes with everyone else with fewer prize money to win from. At least with MLB, even though it is the same $3/$10K 1st place prize, there is less chance of a chop with so many teams playing.

Everyone is playing the same lineup right now.

Well Kyle Lowry is definitely being an assassin to my bankroll. Jerk.
