      2019 DraftKings FFWC Finalist

A large group of DFSers are going to go down to Schneiderman’s office Friday at 8AM. We’ll be wearing #FantasyForAll shirts. Many will have signs. Lots of the Fanduel staff will be there as well.

If you live in the NY area please join us!

The idea is to get our voice heard that DFS is not this cold industry “fleecing” sports fans. It’s full of passionate players – a community of players who love to research, love to compete, and love to play this game as one of their primary hobbies.

Bombs dropping everywhere. The scuttle in the legal world is that dfs as we know it will be on same plane as licensed gambling casinos. Going to get very interesting going forward. Just an aside, the American Indians see dfs as competition and they have a big lobby and lots of money to throw at busting dfs.

With you guys in spirit from California here. Best of luck.

Probably not appropriate, but the sign I would be holding:

You can’t spell Douche Bag without an AG

As a Western New Yorker who lives nowhere near NYC, thank you to all those in attendence today.

I live in California. There is movement here by a politician to try to end DFS in California. I have sent emails to my local representatives voicing my option on not ending DFS in California. It is becoming a band wagon effect. Its time we all rise up and be counted. If we do not, DFS will be gone some day and we will all be scratching our heads wondering what happened. When you ask, why don’t THEY do something, well I can tell you now, WE ARE THEY.

this reporter was calling the entire protest “fanduel employees”. I responded to her tweet by saying

“disingenuous calling them fanduel employees no? the DFS players conference is in NY this weekend. those are mostly DFS players”

her response was “they are not… I talked to dozens of the employees and asked specifically for players to come forward… That was at 8 am”

so if you are a DFS player that was at the rally i would suggest you respond to her tweet letting her not that she is completely incorrect.

ESPN got it right. You really can’t trust the media these days. Best bet would probably calling into the media outlet and giving them a tip specifically saying “DFS conferance” and “players rally” and then cross your fingers.

BUT, GOOD JOB Cal and Brit in the ESPN article above!

  • myb821

This rally was put together to quickly to get a large turnout. If a real rally is wanted to take place there needs to be more than 1-2 days notice. Its unfortunate because with a few more days of notice I feel as if there could have been a large turnout. Especially if all of the sites would have sent out emails about it.

einars are you Sam Reed on twitter or have you not yourself tweeted her yet?

feel like half the predicament DFS is due to media/politicians not really having a clue about anything at all regarding DFS so we need to make sure they get their facts straight.

“the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

    This was my morning exercise!

I am not employed in the industry. I stopped by on my way to work. Plus I got a shirt and a doughnut!
