So Seth Yates ran 3 SB pools on twitter. Took 3 K from all different people via PayPal and Venmo and never paid out the winners. He hasn’t tweeted since Super Bowl Sunday but has been active on RG as early as yesterday. I wasn’t a victim but he just screwed 3 K from members of the DFS community and maybe some people in this very forum. He was an Active poster on RG and also wrote a few columns in the past. Anyone hear anything? The guy use to tweet everyday all day and now nothing. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I am kinda tired of reading about this guys whoa’s. I am however very interested in how this ends up. I am doubtful about hearing Yates’s story, and if he does/doesnt make good I want to know.

So to the person who would have won cash, extremely sorry you got screwed. Please let us know if you get anything, hear anything.

    thanks

    Yeah that doesn’t make sense.

I am almost positive it’s an automatic 10 days for a 2nd offense in Ohio, and a 3rd is a Felony. That arrest record shows 2 others (with a disorderly conduct in between). Maybe they go away after a certain amount of time though??

Also I had no idea he was getting in trouble this often. Not good.

He is not in custody in any of the county jails in southwestern Ohio.

lol no. I run thousands of pools, and I came across on my twitter feed about someone scamming a super bowl square. I clicked on a twitter link to this message board. It’s pretty sad that I never knew RG had a messageboard after all these years. I used Discord on my phone to chat. Kinda sucks. Probably a good number of people I could recruit to do my pools on here. But thinking maybe Seth screwed any kind of trust anyone would have. Although, I don’t collect paypal or venmo. My contest are on Leaguesafe.

Anyhow. here’s my thought. He couldn’t have made an online bet or did anything with that 3k since in was in paypal and it takes like 2 days to get money out of paypal, right? Can anyone see if he played in high stakes pools that day on DK? Maybe a H2H for 3k? Thought maybe he had the GOAT lineup and Goff screwed him?

Let’s be clear. He didn’t run his pools here. He literally has had nothing to do with RG in the past 1 1/2 years. He ran them through his twitter contacts.

Pretty much why we are strict on who we even allow to run pools of that sort on site.

Am I the only one that thinks these Cartoon Caricature profiles are weird AF? Particularly when you find out the guy behind the pic is an addict that’s in and out of jail.

He probably pawned his computer so that’s why the last box was hand written.

    So the logical story is:

Seth got drunk at the SB, went out and got a DUI. He was arrested and negotiated that instead of being tried for a federal DUI, he would go to lets say a month of rehab. Thats a fair plea and frankly would fit the story of his friend dropping him off to rehab. So i do expect that he will get out and pay people but it begs the question…

who played on DK that day

  • fightingjohn

I think this is an inside job!!!! Seth Yates is just a runner for the bigger fish. He could be in this forum….yea think about that #unsolvedmysteries

He got the 2nd OVI (DWI/DUI) the Friday before the Super Bowl. My guess is at that point with mounting legal issues and especially costs, he decided he would keep the $3k from the Squares pool

DUI isn’t like murder where they lock you up as soon as they find you. If he ends up serving jail time for a multiple offense it won’t be for a while.
