So with the NBA all star break here, many NBA dfsers are wandering around aimlessly looking for something to throw their money at for the next week. There’s a few of us that like the LOL E-Games so I figured I’d start this thread and we can pool ideas.

There’s 1 game available for today at 3pm est.

    CLG (8-11) vs. IMT (9-10)
    TL (7-13) vs. DIG (9-13)
    C9 (16-4) vs. TSM (12-9)
    NV (3-16) vs. FOX (10-10)

Stats above are using full 2017 wins/loses not just the spring series that DK uses.

I’ll probably be looking to stack players from FOX & C9, and sprinkle in scorers for the other games if need be.

Not sure how often you play LoL DFS but here are a couple considerations to have on this slate and on LoL slates in general.

    1. Stacking is the name of the game. Since LoL is particularly snowbally and rewards assists it’s a good idea to pick 4 players from the same team.

    2. In league of Legends high scoring games are close games and long games. To use LCK as an example, teams like SKT that face roll their opponents sometimes score less because they know how to finish without running up the kill/death count whereas teams like KT are known to take longer to finish and focus on taking less risks and drawing the game out.

    3. There’s no way you can afford a C9 and FOX stack. Way too expensive. Although FOX is my favorite DFS team right now because they are playing well and winning slow. But since they are playing NV they are wayyyyyyyyy too expensive. Also keep in mind that they are likely to 2-0 NV and it’s usually better to have a 3 game series because high scorers will break the 20 point mark even in a loss (though that’s definitely not always the case).

The aforementioned reasons are why the game that needs to be targeted this week, IMO, is CLG v IMT. I think it’s a pretty close match up and I am willing to go in on CLG to free up some Homerun flex picks. Just my 2 cents I’d love to hear any other thoughts.

Love hearing other thoughts and strategies. I’ll throw a lu in using your suggestions and see how it goes! Been playing this since mid last season and have done ok, though now I’m starting to get into a bit more of the deeper research I usually only devote to NFL, NBA & NHL. Money is money so every bet should be given the same devotion. My C9/FOX stack is 3 from each side with a DIG & TSM thrown in for good measure, haha. We’ll see how it goes. Got 47th this am and 5th yesterday, 7th last week. Had a rough start to the season going winless so it’s nice to grab a few wins now.

Thanks for the tips. I made a lu with your advice and it looks like it might end in 6th. Just threw it in a QA, but not bad. Not sure if you’re doing the LCK/LPL tonight at midnight but I’d listen to your input. I was looking to target ROX, RNG & IM in that one.

  • bradman99

I don’t play LPL at all but I love LCK, I will take a look at the slate and post here! Good luck :) my CLG stack finished at 632 tonight

  • Syzltuth

Sounds good. That 3rd game of C9/TSM sucked. Fell from 3rd to 8th. Only QA but a difference of $6 when I was in 2nd to .87 in 8th.

For the 3 pm NA I did 1 TSM/CLG stack and was going to try your approach again for the 2nd one in doing. Looks like TL/CLG could be a close one, go 3 rounds. They look to be fairly even strength. Stacked both sides of that. Thoughts?

  • bradman99

Yeah TL vs CLG is super interesting after watching today’s games… I would still stay away from either of their junglers, but I always like a good Darshan stixxay afromoo stack in at least one of my lineups for tournaments no matter what their match up is. I’d probably stay away in cash games and play a stack on either side in tournaments.

  • bradman99

I was looking at the slate you mentioned, I don’t know enough about the LPL to play the slate, but I really do think the ROX vs BBQ match-up is the better of the series in the LCK tonight. SSG is a good pick for cash games against JAG.

Yeah, I have darshan, stixxay but went smoothie for my sup. I currently have reignover (TL) as my JNG, the only other option I’d have $$ for is Dardoch. He’s avg about 10 more fpts but going against FOX. It’d free up $200 I might be able to use elsewhere though.

The guys in the other LOL thread recommended BBQ over ROX. So I’ve updated that lu. We’ll see how this all pans out.

  • bradman99

BBQ is definitely a slight favorite but I could see it going either way which is why it’s a better tournament play.

After seeing fox play today I would definitely be drawn to dardoch…

  • Syzltuth

Ok, sounds like a plan, I’ll give Dardoch a shot
