So to satisfy the Sandlot component of the Big League Achievements promo (i.e., play in a single paid league contest with at least 99 opponents), I’ve created a 100-man contest for this evening.

$1 entry, top 15 cash.

If filled, you earn 2,250 FPPs, which is good for a $4 ticket (so even if you lose… you win).

If you want an invite, post your DK username (or send it to me privately).

Would take an invite, and try to help fill. Regarding the contest hautalak referenced, that was done as a 50/50. If you don’t fill with what you have, might be worth a shot to try that format.

On my Achivement page it only says it is worth 500 pts?

I only ask because the post indicated it was the equivalent of a $4 ticket. I don’t normally bother on a Sunday, but I’d throw something together if it’s essentially free money.
Either way, it is cool that you’re organizing this and giving people the chance to complete that no matter what the reward is.

If you do the level 8 one right away without doing the other levels first they give you credit for all levels 1-8 which ends up being a total of 2250. So it all depends if you still have all 8 levels available to clear or not for how much you will get.

As an example if you have already played a 10 player MLB league contest you would have earned a total of 700 FPP’s already so then you would only receive 1550 bonus FPP’s for clearing levels 5-8.

That contest was a 100 player $1 50/50 with the pick em format so all the golf guys who don’t play the MLB would still get in as well since you don’t have to put much time into the pick em format. I prefer the classic myself but I know it is an easier sell to pull in non MLB players with the easy pick em format. We will see how tomorrow goes but it is another thought.

What I was missing actually dawned on me at 5 in the morning, out of nowhere, when trying to get back to sleep.
Funny how that works.
