Last night I finished in 1st place in the $8 entry of the single game entry into the Memphis v. Brooklyn NBA game. The game went to 2OT periods. The scores accumulated throughout both up and down as per usual. I was thrilled when after the game went final I found myself in sole possession of 1st place with a final score of 293.75, edging out a large tie for 2nd. Approximately 20 minutes after the game went final the scores were changed and my place was reduced to 23rd with a payout of $40. The scores throughout the regular time and both overtime periods changed accordingly. Only after the game ended did the score change, with a negative impact for me. I cannot accept that the in game points cannot be updated accurately and then somehow adjusted afterwards. You won…wait never mind, you lost! Unreal. I have reached out to Draftkings for explanation as to the scoring change with no response. By removing 3 points from my Captain position, player J. Jackson Jr. (Memphis) the result resulted in me losing my 1st place position of 3k. I have been playing DFS for years and never been blindsided in this manner. I have asked them to provide documentation showing the 1st place finish and the revised scores, no response from them as of yet. This to me suggests improper expectations as to the platform. How is a player to believe he finished in the top spot only to have his cash prize suddenly removed without explanation. There was plenty of time with a 2OT game to ensure the standings reflect accurately, how is a customer to accept losing out on 3k like that? The platform has a certain level of expectation once the game is final. This to me is unfair business practice at best. Considering a small claims action but would prefer the issue solved amicably. Thoughts? Is it not reasonable to expect to be paid for the position you finish once the game has gone final? I have never experienced this ever and been playing for years!!
