Dude’s been on a milk carton it seems for the most part in the DFS world recently.

He is going to lose his player of the year status if he keeps this trend up, if he even cares about that anymore.

Is he working on some more longer term projects such as building a new algorithmic analytical data model?

Is he building his own daily fantasy sports website?

Has MaximusDalury found a new industry to begin dismantling?

Could just be on vacation…

He has been playing plenty….just hasn’t been dominating gpp’s like usual.

Im sure when dk runs this midsummer classic gpp he will probably win like 8 of the top 10 prizes.

Correlation between 500 entry max to 150 entries (and subsequently 20 entry) and lack of domination?

The real money to be made in DFS is not by playing DFS.

He did 1 entry last night into the large 444 dollar tournament on DK MLB when the max entry was like 20 or so.

Heard it’s a girl.

I guess raising 1.2M in seed funding leaves less time/desire for $20 gpp entries… crazy.

I’d guess hes working a lot now during the day so he doesn’t have the time for DFS research.

I, for one, know the huge difference when you switch to a day job and can’t devote 3-4-5 hours a day to research. My ROI from last year to this one with a different job is massive. (not in the good way lol)

This is misleading. First of all, if you take a look at his company’s structure, Saahil isn’t even part of the main founders list (you can google it). I don’t know the story entirely, but one thing that possibly might have occurred is they paid Saahil to use his namesake and gave him a position within the company, so he is still part of the company. However, he is not the main founder of the company if you just read the news and reports.

Also, yes, although you can use the 1.2M in seed funding to pay employees, technically, you shouldn’t be using the majority of that to pay employees. At least if I was a VC and I see the majority of the money goes to employee compensation, that’s a huge red flag. So you implying anyone in the company gets a large portion of that 1.2 M is incorrect.

Also, since we are on this topic, can someone tell me how RotoQL is an improvement over anything on Rotogrinders? I feel like the free stuff on Rotogrinders is already very good. I’m not a premium member, but the free content itself has been incredibly helpful. Granted I’ve never used RotoQL and just scrolled over the website, but for anyone that has used it, what are some pros and cons?

I think he’s just saying that Saahil has bigger things on his mind than playing DFS right now. I don’t think he really implied anything about how the 1.2M is being used.

RotoQL is easily the worst premium service on the mainstream market.

Primitive tools and bad userface. Would stay here.

He’s playing mlb tonight. At least 3 entries in the 444 on so.

Just happened to see his name next to mine.

He may be playing here or there, but clearly he has cut back significantly. My guess is that he just wasn’t do as well and just like he dethroned Condia, other top pros have come along and pushed him out of the way or at least leveled the playing field against him.

He better not even think about moving in on my action. Will probably come up with an algorithm to see patients every 4 seconds instead of 7 minutes!

Hmm it looks like he didn’t play PGA at all this week? Could account for why there was unfilled entries in many contests…anyone know what happened? To be fair, I didn’t play either, so it could be he’s just taking a break/vacation, but I think it’s more likely he’s shutting down?

Probably the rich millionaire that’s staking him isn’t anymore?not for MLB at least or PGA.I’m sure he’ll get staked again in NFL where he’s def been good.

At least I personally think he is or was getting staked.nothing wrong with it I mean there’s a show,shark tank, where they do it.

Unless of course it’s been his money this whole time.including the nights where he spent 100k.I believe he said he was doing it practically every night last year in mlb.

To spend 100k a night of your own money you would need a bankroll north of a couple mill.and of course dfs is the surest safest thing if you have a couple mill.not buying land or mutual funds or anything.
