Is anyone else experiencing connectivity issues with Draft right now?

  • flipp39

Yes I have a draft in 3 minutes and cannot connect on any device.

  • Dunzor

Same here, have multiple drafts with Ertz or Fournette that need to be swapped and can’t access the site on mobile or regular

its a mess – i just did the rotogrinders one and many of us surely picked people we would not have –

  • wolfjb1

It’s totally dead for me too. Amateur hour over there. Support doesn’t even respond.

  • mataug21

Yeah, Im having trouble swapping out Fournette!

  • wolfjb1

At least support responded. What kind of site crashes an hour and a half before lock on Sunday. What a joke. I was starting to really love Draft

  • bcjmu

Good to hear I wasn’t the only one. I text support…no reply back yet…

  • Honzerbonzer

    This is ridiculous

  • mataug21

Yeah, wth. Of course I have Fournette in my Wold Series of Fantasy lineup…

Did the site fold already? Would have hoped they made it until at least their live final.

Crashed here too. Good timing. Ugh.

I was able to get on eventually and swap out Fornette, I just had to leave the window open for a while to let it process.

Draft is great, and I would bet a lot they will refund anyone affected by this.

Mt guess is the Fornette news broke and everyone flocked to the site at once to swap and it overloaded their servers.

  • wolfjb1

Total amateur hour. Been trying to log on and swap for over an hour. I managed to swap one out of about 50

  • Honzerbonzer

Got in and swapped with 25 seconds to spare lmao

  • MarcoPolo128

Still not able to swap out Fournette. However I am sure Draft will make things right. By far the best DFS site out there.

Guys, I am so sorry about the issues. We are currently all hands on deck trying trying to get the site/apps back up to full speed and get in touch with everyone who was effected. I know it’s frustrating as hell and I’m sorry. We will do everything we can to make things right.

  • wolfjb1

Can’t wait to see how they are going to make things right. So, they’ll refund my money on the brackets that had Fournette and/or Ertz? But in the Thursday-Monday brackets, I would’ve swapped in Zeke (because, duh…). So what if Zeke smashes and his score is the difference between me cashing and not cashing? Are they gonna give me my winnings? What if you entered a multi-week tournament and the entire thing is messed up because of all the dead brackets. I’d also need to know what they’re doing to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future. And I was in the quarterfinals of an expert tournament, and couldn’t access the app to do my draft. Luckily, I had played around a bit and set players in my queue, but that isn’t necessarily an accurate reflection of who I would take, because it depends who the other guy takes.

Hey guys, here’s the copy of the email we just sent out to everyone who played this week. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you think there’s anything we should be doing differently.

We had an outage that affected draft.com and the DRAFT apps from 11:30am to 1:07pm EST. We are sincerely sorry. We completely understand what a frustrating experience this is and simply put, we dropped the ball. We are going to do everything we can to make it right in this case and make sure a similar situation doesn’t happen in the future.

    ————

If you could not complete a draft because of the outage.

We will automatically refund your entry fee if you lose. We do not want anyone to have an auto-picked team, let alone lose with one. If you are due a refund, it will be done automatically after the contests have closed, no later than by the end of the day Wednesday,

    ————

If you were unable to swap out Fournette and/or Ertz (Drafts, Tournaments and Dream Teams).

We will add their projected points (15.2 for Fournette and 10.7 for Ertz) to your team(s) and pay you out accordingly. If this was in a tournament, we will pay out the equity value of the next round, if you had advanced. This is an amount equal to the total remaining prize pool divided by total remaining entrants in the next round. These scores will not show in your contest but if the additional points would have changed the outcome we will be paying you out as if you had them. This will be done automatically after the contests have closed, no later than by the end of the day Wednesday,

    ————

If you were in the second or later round of a tournament that had a scheduled draft time during the outage.

That draft has been rescheduled for next week (and all subsequent drafts have been moved back a week).

    ————

Again, we sincerely apologize about the downtime and frustration it caused. We understand it is not acceptable and will do everything we can to be better in the future. If you have any additional questions or have a situation you think is not addressed here please shoot us an email and let us know.

Bit more of an update we just sent out:

Relating to today’s outage, there are a couple situations we’d like to clarify:

If you drafted Leonard Fournette or Zach Ertz and you lose, you will be refunded your entry fee whether you were able to successfully swap or not. If you were in a tournament, you will get the equity value for the round: an amount equal to the total remaining prize pool divided by the total remaining entrants in the round.

If you swapped Fournette or Ertz for a player in a Draft who put up fewer points than Fournette or Ertz projections, you will get credit for their projections rather than the player you swapped for. If those points would have resulted in you winning, you will be paid out as as a winner.

These payouts will not be reflected in the contest, but will be applied automatically after the contests have closed, no later than by the end of the day Wednesday.

    To summarize:

If you drafted Fournette or Ertz, at minimum you will be refunded.
If you were auto-picked because of the outage, you will be refunded.
If you were in the second or later round of a tournament scheduled to draft during the outage, that draft will be rescheduled for next week.

Again, we are very sorry about today’s experience. If you have any questions at all, please reach out.

  • Honzerbonzer

Wow, you guys are awesome. Understand it’s an unfortunate circumstance but you guys are going above and beyond on this. I also appreciate the email reply minutes after I had sent an email to support. Again, thank you!

But some people -They dont want their draft pushed till next week – they were going to play today because they could draft this week – they should be refunded and let those who want to play next week do so

That is a way better answer than the first one. I was ready to give up on you guys after the first email, but if this is indeed how things are handled, you’ll have my business again. Outages happen rarely, but how they are handled is more important than that they happened.

  • YeahYou

This is possibly the best way they could’ve handled it.

  • mataug21

Anyone remember what Fournette was projected at?
