DK announced this morning that they are now officially in business to be WWE’s official DFS partner. What form this will take is anyone’s guess but they have put up free-to-play pool style games in the past. If this ends up being something where I can create a 6 person Monday Night Raw lineup it feels safe to say I’ll be a millionaire by year’s end.

If anyone needs any advice on how to WWE just let me know. There is an ebb an flow to their programming that could make this highly exploitable.

For instance … never take the a champion to win if he is facing his already announced pay-per-view opponent in a tag match. He’s going to lose. Stuff like that. Also, you will want people who have a submission because in their past games they’ve given points for submission attempts and someone like Daniel Bryan or Shayna Bayzler could break a slate.

I’m way too excited for this.

This is just a sponsorship and a prediction game, they did a Wrestlemania predictions game last year.

At most they could do Wrestlemania slate as a freeroll because you will have a card of 10 matches which are probably all going to have definitive outcomes.

Certain WWE employees will know the results of all the matches in advance so it would be illegitimate to do real money contests.

By the time a standard ppv starts the majority of the betting lines have very short odds favourites.

They rarely announce more than one match in advance of the average Raw and Smackdown broadcast so I don’t know what you’re expecting from that.

As a casual wrestling fan at best these days, but a WWE network subscriber from the beginning, I was thrown off and skeptical of all the content moving to Peacock, but I get Peacock for free, so saving 9.99 a month was fine with me. Anyway, I don’t watch much wrestling these days, but I’ve watched every Mania since as far back as I can remember. So, I had every intention of watching this years ( still will )….anyway I’ll get to the point….How the hell does Peacock not let you pause or rewind Mania?! I just went to start watching it 20 minutes ago, as I have been busy all evening, and all I can do is join it live. You’re telling me Peacock – NBCUniversal – Comast, one of the biggest media companies in the world can’t put together a streaming service where you can pause and rewind live tv? Or at least, have a start from the beginning option? Come on.

Sorry, this is actually kind of off topic, but I needed to complain!

Yeah it’s been a frequent complaint on the internet, as well as the editing of the archive footage for ‘offensive’ content.

In the UK we still are using the WWE Network.
