Sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn’t find it. How may days are in the baseball season? For the achievement of playing 180 days, how many days can you miss and still make 180?

    Thanks.

There is 186 days total between opening day and the final day of the season. However there is the All star break in there with no baseball that Monday or Wednesday which gets you down to 184 days. I am guessing they will offer a showdown slate for Tuesday’s all star game and they only have 1 game scheduled for that Thursday which will also most likely include a showdown option. So depending if you want to play those likely showdown slates for the All Star game you can still miss 4 days and hit 180 days played for the top level achievement in the Iron man promo.

I just quickly scanned the terms but I don’t see anything that excludes post season play from counting towards the achievements. That would make it much easier to hit 180.

That’s an interesting thought. I generally believe they intended this to be a regular season promotion (since the MLB playoffs run into football season) BUT they didn’t specify and they may very well leave it running through the playoffs.

Either way, their support staff has been great about helping out for me this year; I’m sure a quick email or Twitter DM would give you a firm answer.

    Season began 3/29.

There is a game scheduled for 10/1 to end the regular season.

    That’s 187 days.

Monday and Wednesday during the ASB had no games so we’re down to 185.

185 is the maximum possible, meaning you could miss 5 days and make the top tier.\

However, three days are/were showdown-only. The All Star Game, the Thursday two days after the ASG, and then the 10/1 date.

    Achievements is regular season-only.

It says “track your progress all regular season long…”
I initially wasn’t sure either, but I noticed that recently. I also didn’t do the math at the start and assumed I’d have to play every day, but it’s cool that they have people some leeway to still get the “Iron Man”. The promo has been awesome for someone like me that’s a lower stakes player. The fact that these now roll over into the Daily Rewards and allow me to reach tiers I never would have makes it even better. The promos been a Home Run and added so much value to this season for me, thanks DK.

hope they’ll bring it back similar next season

Hopefully they won’t require unique lineups next season. As someone without the bankroll to MME anything but the minimax its a pain to run 150 lineups across like 20 contests.

Big League Achievements ends at the end of the MLB regular season.

The MLB season is scheduled to end on Sept 30th, but it was extended by the MLB to incorporate a makeup game for the Marlins at Pittsburgh. We will offer the Marlins at Pittsburgh game as part of the season, and this game will count towards any Major League Achievements milestones that remain.

Aww, thank you for sharing the love – we love you back!!!! It makes everyone happy to hear how well received the one-two punch of Missions and DraftKings Rewards has been!
