Remember that PPD a week ago for the WSH vs BAL game where they cancelled it despite no rain? i begged them for my money back cuz i had players from that game and they gave it back to me, 200 bucks. how fair is that to everyone else?

i wasnt going to say anything, but i am seeing the recent posts about DK and ive had enough of the “integrity” team, which is total garbage.

What is your problem Ryazan? You have some sort of vendetta against the industry? They were very generous and gave you back money and you are here to bash them? Yes, the sites give plenty of perks to players who spend lots of money on their sites. They were obviously beyond nice to you in this case, but I’m guessing they won’t be in the future.

I mean… perks are one thing (tickets, events, etc), but giving people entry fees back for a rain out is another story. How is that even remotely fair for anyone? I play thousands per week and never once have I even considered e-mailing them when one of my players is late scratched, game is canceled, or god forbid the court is too wet.

  • Lathum

Isn’t this guy the degenerate who maxed out all his credit cards playing?

They likely gave it back to him because they knew they would have it back within a day.

Ryazan brings up an issue that if true is a big deal. And all you want to do is question him and talk about how “generous” and “nice” DK was?

Giving a player their entry fees back is not a perk. How about those small stakes players that played on that night? Why weren’t they allowed to get their money back?

You clearly have your head buried in the sand if you don’t think this is an issue.

Isn’t this the same guy (rhetorical question, it is the same guy) asking RG for advice on how to sue FD for letting him lose too much? He’s long since perma-banned there, looks like DK (and probably RG) should do the right thing and follow suit. The industry doesn’t need degenerate sore losers like this, put him on a DFS free island with da beard.

*I am slightly perturbed they’d bend to this weasel like this though. Why? I’m careful as a MFER with rain but when I get bit I sack up and take it, and now I know (as much as you can know anything OP says) you refund sore losers?? Pretty annoying!

I am just a contributor on the site, I am not involved in moderation or the operation of Rotogrinders.com. IMO giving a player a credit on their account for rained out contests is the same as them giving others free entries. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and right to express concerns about it, but it is just a business trying to keep their best customers happy. I am guessing Ryazan would be willing to give back his $200 he (allegedly) received considering this not being fair to everyone.

  • Cpjttogether

What life isn’t fair? Wtf is going on? I got some fan duel points , when the 76ers game had too slippery of a floor to play.

  • jokerswild22

They probably gave it to him cause he’d just lose it back the next day.

This dude is trash. Probably the only reason he’s posting here is cause he lost it and is trying to blow the whistle like he did in that ridiculous FanDuel thread.

All sites should refuse service to him after that FD thread.

  • Babelito84

I’d be curious to see this or I simply don’t believe it. Why ? Because Imyself and a friend were ripsh-t pisseed off about that same WSH game and he emailed DK asking for a refund or some sort of compensation in return. Hes a platinum level player and they emailed him back some form email that says that DFS carries risk and as a game of skill you must monitor the weather. We both sent them a smart ass remark and went on our merry way. So I’m a bit reluctant to believe this.

That said,if this did happen, I cannot imagine the amount of free stuff given to the top players.

DFS is a business. Customers that generate more revenue should certainly be ‘rewarded’ more so than those that generate less. I’m really confused by the outcry. I mean, this is a basic practice in just about every facet of business.

The topic should say, all sites, not just DK. I’m sure we are all fully aware that Casino’s give their sharks preferential treatment as well, no?

Fanduel gave me and my family floor tickets to a Cavs game, far more value than a couple hundred bucks that Ryazan probably gave back the next night anyways, chasing a finals seat.

I mean is this really news? You don’t think any big business won’t bend over backwards to make sure their top clients are not happy?

My wife and son, to this day, still bring up those seats to the Cavs. Fanduel’s kind gesture to someone like me, who has given back much more than that in rake, is smart business.

People are familiar about the freebies given away outside of the actual game played. It is understandable but this is something different. I’m wondering how do they decide who is allowed to get there money back and who isn’t? and under what circumstances? Are certain players allowed to get there money back if a player is a late scratch? how far do these sites go to keep players happy? Casinos give there players perks but they don’t give preferential treatment when it comes to actual playing. If there is a mixup on the table all players are rewarded not just one

no, you are just making things up now. the fanduel thread from months ago was about them ignoring Massachusetts state regulations law and allowing deposits beyond the monthly limit via wire transfers as opposed to traditional deposit methods such as CC or paypal (once i had reached my deposit limit, they told me that i could not deposit via CC or paypal anymore, but they allowed wire transfers as a way to go around it…deff interesting). nobody is suing anyone for losing, try thinking logically before you make things up.

however, the state could sue fanduel for violating their regulations if I were to bring it up to them.
