Remember that PPD a week ago for the WSH vs BAL game where they cancelled it despite no rain? i begged them for my money back cuz i had players from that game and they gave it back to me, 200 bucks. how fair is that to everyone else?

i wasnt going to say anything, but i am seeing the recent posts about DK and ive had enough of the “integrity” team, which is total garbage.

So first I emailed the regular customer service and remembered I had the VIP department who recently emailed me also . They stated if I needed anything to contact them. I earned 15,000 dk points last month so I guess that’s why. Anyways they all made the situation worse.

First off I was told by a rep that my lineup somehow scored 111 points and although they dont know how it would have played out they know scores are generally higher to win. I would not be wasting my god blessed time over a lineup that scored 111 points for one !!! And for two that’s where their lies began.

When I won 10,600 a few weeks prior it took 167 points and that was one of the lowest and because of rain.. so I’m aware what scored win and what does not. I’m quite sure my lineup of Mike Clevinger, Ivan Nova, Joey Votto, Suarez, shebler , Jeb lowrie , Chad pinder, khris Davis , and Lonnie chisenhall and Devin merasco would have taken a contest down. It was right at 200 points and on an early contest like that I don’t even think there was many lineups that could be much better then that although I think there are better possible lineups the fact is I’m sure I would have turned a large profit. How many times will Mike clevinger throw 7 or 8 innings of 8 strikeout 2 hit ball? Won’t happen again and I’m sure almost noone had him…Also sure Chad Pinder was in the low end of players owned and jeb most likely not either. I will never know because they wont share anythign and keep lying about it.

When they lied to me about what my lineup would have scored I literally started shaking and they are aware im pregnant . The records they have most be my dummy lineup because I went in there about 8 minutes before lock or what was supposed to be lock and noticed it was acting weird but got my lineups changes just fine after having to enter them a few times because of an error. But I thought nothing of it…Why would I. Why would I ever think they would do something like that.

So after going back and forth they decide to bribe me with a gosh darn 4$ ticket and at this point im so upset . Upset now about the way I’m being treated and how they are making such a small deal about this and making me feel so insignificant and small. Giving me no reason for this to happen and simply blowing off the fact that I spent and spend hours researching and trying to be good at this.

When the VIP gentlemen replied to me things really got worse and ended up carrying into today and with him closing my account talking about he warned me about something and that management felt it was best to close my account some excuse like that Jordan Bloom gave.

But before that he went on telling me there was nothing they could do and on top of the 4$ ticket they gave me 100$ in bonus dollars and I started to lose it having to email and not be able to talk to a human because his answer to their incompetence and abusing me was to start with a 4$ ticket and move up to a bonus I have to pay to unlock are you kidding me. This after lying about my lineups to me and telling me they did a free roll. Not at all understanding all these months IVe been losing I haven’t bothered them cause it was my money and I knew what I was doing and it had risk… But having a finally amazing lineup and coming home expecting. Big win and seeing nothing and then being told I’m lying and bribed with trash is insulting and hurtful.

I’ll make one more post about the rest then going to bed I’m exhausted.

I actually went through pretty much the exact same situation (I’m the one that got the $444 ticket) but I think I found issue and the reason why they probably won’t give you as much.

You said you went in to change your lineups 8 minutes before the scheduled lock which was 2:10 pm so you were making these changes around 2:02 pm. The accidental early lock occurred at 1:50 pm and following that it was a period of about 30 minutes or so when you could not edit any lineups. Eventually, as they were trying to fix their error you were able to edit lineups as you normally would for a contest that was already live. I was editing some of my lineups at 3:30 pm before they decided to cancel the slate.

Here is probably what happened in your case:

    1) The lineup changes you made didn’t go through because they were made during that 30 minute window from the start of the accidental early lock so they don’t have a record of your lineup. Did you check your lineups anymore throughout the day before the 4pm games started? To just make sure the changes did go through?

    2) Because of the early lock error they may have only been able to go by lineups that were entered before error at 1:50 pm. My lineup that I emailed them about was upload via CSV at 1:30 pm so I had electronic dated records of everything.

Also, the lineup that you described would have scored 207.50 points but would have also had $6700 left in remaining salary. IF your changes did not through I’m sure it would be hard for them to believe you were playing a lineup with that much salary left especially if you only had a few lineups entered. I could see the big max entry pros having a lineup like this but you had enough remaining salary to upgrade from nova to Scherzer, Schebler to Duval and Chisenhall to Brantley. To me, and I could definitely be wrong here, the lineup sounds to good to be true.

I don’t think DFS is for you sweetie. You don’t seem to have thick enough skin to keep up with the craziness that goes on in this industry. If you want to play just to have fun and pass the time, then enjoy it for what it is.

Sweetie ? Is this a joke. I won and lost 15 grand in a week’s time. I’m pretty sure I can handle it. I’m pretty sure changing diapers and handling an ADHD child with the utmost patience is a little harder then a game “sweetie”. Things like this are exactly the issue. People immediately think a person is weak or unworthy because of words typed on a screen, gender, or skin color.

And your so called craziness in the industry if you weren’t so blind and allowed to be led like sheep is simply supply and demand and money and who has the most. I never stayed I was upset about money or that was the case or that dfs was my income. I have a degree and am saving up for grad school while raising a family so trust me hun, I’m just fine. But I’m not going to be quiet while people do what they please with my hard earned money on simple principal .Jesus turned the other cheek and I do at times, but you have to draw a line somewhere. Thank you for your input and good day sir.

This is actually helpful and are one of the people that made me speak up and mention things to this VIP department I was given.

First off let me thank you for your great post and excellent grammar and wording. I can see how mine was difficult to read by seeing yours. I’ll try to do better.

Second I absolutely think you are right and like I said I only use my phone and was getting an error when editing but the third time I clicked submit it said at least that It went through on the app.

Furthermore I honestly wasn’t looking for as much or anything in particular , but after they just put 100$ bonus in my account and I saw that they refused to understand where I was coming from and basically called me a liar and before they closed my account I simply said look just take the bonus and give me a 40$ ticket to this event please as I don’t want to deposit further after learning you can cancel my hard work and research at your leisure . I found it unfair they basically give you a bonus which forces you to play and deposit more to unlock it… Slap in the face and honestly a joke I felt.

I was polite and articulate as I could be. But the gentlemen kept undermining me and being abusive and belittling me and left me with a closed account and without access.

Thank you for your input and I’m curious what your lineups were. I wanted to see mine and know prices and what I left on the table but was told they have the lineups but nothing else. In fact I got a different story from each representative.

Finally I’m sure that wasn’t the perfect lineup and you need to understand why I’m this upset it’s because I spent 6 months and never made a lineup that scored more then 170 until what would have been that day. Look at my lineup history I always leave a large amount on the table. I’m from Cleveland Ohio and I play reds and Indians heavily. It was more a thing where I was trying to fade the weather and I honestly see the ball flying at Atlanta’s new park and I won’t roster pitchers there . If the lineup was trash like many of mine if never make a big deal…Waste my time why. But I feel a certain way and feel like my research paid off or I was just lucky. And really got the short end….

Well no offense but my thoughts are anyone who is claiming they are pregnant/ different skin color/gender or anything else before stating the situation or complaint is usually 1 of 2 things.
    1) they usually draw a race/gender/anything to discriminate card or yell up and down making anyone who actually wants try and help them run away.
    2) full of poop
I have no idea on what your situation is but already by how you talk on here I think number 1 may be more accurate.

No clue if this whole story is true or not (it rambles on for a while), but if it is true, here is my advice:

I think you should step away from DFS for a while. You have kids and say you are pregnant, which is more important than anything related to DFS. if you get THIS stressed about DFS (and this situation), it is not healthy for you right now.

Well I’m Caucasian so the race card wouldnt play well . Secondly stating I was pregnant was eluding to the point I had never posted on a forum before and was hormonal and fired up. Also eluding to the fact that I have enough stress on my body and if you have ever carried a baby youd understand it’s quite amazing the things your body go through and how much stress effects you and had I messaged them asking for somthing your thoughts would make sense. But I did not.

Attention is something I do not require or need my husband gives me enough. But people with knowledge on the situation and who are open minded and not blinded by propaganda are few and far between and I felt what could it hurt to post on a forum and listing speaking on similar happenings.

No different then you calling me sweetie I suppose and treating me like a child or something lesser then you. Do you call grown men on here sweetie ? Would you call one of the pros sweetie while they took your money and laughed. The point is treat others how you want to be treated and rules should be the same regardless of skin color, bankroll , screen name anything.

I’m not here to pick fights and your insults and unkind words do not bother me as I have brothers do trust me you could do worse. But just agreeing with whatever draftkings says because they are the largest and the best contests and they might end up legal and stay in your state or might not and omg if they say it it’s gotta be true mentality is weak.

I’ve taken time and read through here and seen grown men whining about having 4$ in play and games not going how they think they should and resorting to drinking alcohol and depression and cursing the world up and down . Maybe those are the ones who would not have skin thick enough for this.

I like to be good at anything I do. A year ago i didn’t know what woba was or ISO or splits…But just like when I struggled in college or fractions in highschool I put my all into it and have pride in my work.

Life goes on and the world will keep turning with or without an almighty draftkings account. I could open one in any number of people’s names if it matters that much to me . Maybe if you read my messages with them and looked in my account and saw my volume and lineups you’d have a better understanding.

Nevertheless words on a screen make people believe they know a person or their intentions. I’m one of the kindest and most humble people one could meet. It’s 95 degrees here in Florida today and I’m sweaty and happy. A few days with no baseball will not be the end of the world. Always somehting else to be good at, hopefully people involved next time have integrity.

Quite the coincidence that you make your best lineup ever by 40 pts on the day the slate was cancelled and didn’t edit/import it until after the slate was messed up and DK has no record of it, while also being the last $50 in your account after having quite a bit more recently. Sounds like dk did you a favor, if you are pregnant and also have kids, and stayed up until 8 am researching a 5 game slate….this is probably for the best.

Last thing I’m saying because either draftkings has sent people to make me look bad or this has turned negative because of a few bad eggs who instead of bringing somehting useful to the table decided to bash.

To your point I’ll respond one last thing since you were intelligent and kind and bet even have a college degree unlike many who have commented as education shows easily. To your point on my lineup being unlikely and leaving cash on table my one big win for 11,000 was because I rostered Danny Valencia and cheap pitching as well on a full slate and had him in every lineup and left thousands on the table. Look it up and tell me how unlikely it would be for me to create a lineup like this after that lol.

Look this isn’t what I came here for and am too educated and happy for bickering . Thanks for the ones who tried to see my point of view and who were not brainwashed and unable to give an intelligent opinion. Good day.

So, having chastised the posters whose condescending dismissals irritated me, I guess I’ll second this part. My assumption is the part she’s leaving out – and we should all be well aware that posts like hers are always leaving something out – is the part that suggested to DK that she might need exclusion. It’s possible. I don’t like inferring things about people’s lives (I know some are quite eager to do so), but it’s certainly possible.

Still, we have Ryazan claiming that he lied to them about being totally broke, and rather than banning him for his own good, they refunded his money. And we have the meat of Top10’s complaint, which is that she took responsibility for the losses that were hers, but DK didn’t follow it’s own protocol. That’s a valid complaint in my mind, whatever her personal circumstances are.

The only quibble I have with what you post is that they could easily look at her history and see if she has this strategy. I know I personally make lineups like that all the time, and I’m not a max entry pro. I routinely leave thousands on the table, because to me it’s about the stacks and the combinations, not stuffing as much salary as possible into my lineup, and I reason that I’m playing to try to win, not cash, so if I were to take a cross-section of a pro’s 150 lineups (the limit was actually much higher when I started playing this way), I’d want the higher-variance ones, and that the typical casual player is doing it wrong by essentially trying to mimic the lower-variance, more “solid” lineups.

All I’m saying is it’s a legit strategy, and one which she might well have used before.

And I still think the gist of her complaint is valid, whether or not she deserved a refund.

Ryazan, it’s people like you abusing the system and people’s emotions that lead to people like her (if story is true) not getting what they hope for. I hope you can look at yourself and realize what you did is completely out of line and screws over others. You’re trying to lead a crusade against DK and all you have here is one side.
