Just starting this thread as the old thread is sort of off topic. We are past that first drop now and these are pretty exciting.

Now if I could just get something under 15,000 place in line to get one!

yeah so you have no idea whether it is a good buy or not. Tricky.

Its a lottery so if you get lucky and pull 1-99 you will get a profit and if you get a bad number you just hope to sell for a couple dollar loss and move on to try again I guess.

Didn’t miss too much as the non low serial numbers are selling for $94 to $98 which is breakeven price. It was another lottery for a #1 or something if you wanted to flip for a profit.

  • yisman

yeah. I got in the 2nd but spot 4k or so.

Not surprisingly, this magazine stuff didn’t end up being worthwhile (unless you nailed the 2 team parlay of getting a spot to buy AND landing a sought after serial number).

I didn’t get any but no regrets.

I won the second one (219th in queue, serial number 206/500) and sold it minutes later for $136 ($15 profit if you remove the rake). They’re now selling for $125. There’s no market, so I figured I’d make a quick buck rather than just have $100 less in my DK account!

I don’t mind holding athlete cards because I feel like they have some value. Those slam cards are just random, and having the $100 one doesn’t give you more than the $20 one.

Fun fact: redeemedwarriors and kempseys actually both won a card through the drop.

Then, obviously redeemedwarriors bought serial number 1/500 for $130 in a second.

Damn I got got! Now selling for $169. I would have never thought!

Hard to predict the last one would go for so much when the rest really didn’t. I think next weeks SAW drops will be interesting and I think those $200 keys with 1000 of them could be worth a lot as people chase the Metamask wallet air drop. No way I go for that as it could cost like $1000 to make a set and I don’t see anyway a SAW NFT could ever be worth that.

They released them officially today and damn, I actually think they look great. Makes me want to buy the whole thing, but we’ll see what resale prices are.

It will definitely be interesting and I think they did a good job in setting these up and putting a gamification to it with the sets and air drop rewards. Makes me think that good things may be on the horizon with the LE drops that our pre season passes are good for. 11/9 is the first LE athlete drop with Wayne Gretzky.

They are pumping this one hard on discord for no real reason so now they are selling for $350. Makes no sense why people would pay that but someone is going to be left holding the bag at those prices.

$420 now what the absolute hell?!?

It reminds me of Gamestop on how the discord for Autograph has almost turned this particular NFT into the running joke of how high they can pump it up.

Any of you guys go through the process of linking all those different accounts?

It’s a pain in the ass. I’m stuck. I can’t seem to link the final thing: “link Coinbase wallet to autograph.io”

I get a request to switch networks (or something like that). I accept the request. I click the button again to link and now it says “a valid address is required”

    I don’t get it.
Any of you experience similar problems?
    Any suggestions?

    EDIT-
This is regarding the SAW drop and the “completed set” prize awarded at midnight on Halloween (or whenever).
…you have to link (and – in my case – create as well) a couple different accounts.

I was hoping someone would read the “Terms and Conditions” they’re speaking of, and here you are! I just read them too, and you’re right. I had a Binance account already, but I guess I’ll have to create a Coinbase or MetaMask one now! And also an Autograph one. The fact that it’s that complicated makes me think the Jigsaw’s workshop NFT will have great value. I think I’ll try to get 2 or 3 so that I can flip one and keep one.

Alright, I did it. You have to create an Autograph account. It goes pretty fast. Then, linking your DK account should go pretty fast too. The Coinbase wallet is a little more difficult. You need to download the app and then link it by scanning (with your phone) the QR code that Autograph will give you (on a computer).

The Coinbase wallet has a few more steps, but I’m fine with it as its goal is to be to very safe!

Won the first Saw drop but couldn’t pull the trigger. I’m a cheapo and wasn’t planning on getting the whole collection so wasn’t sure it was worth it. Right now looking like an ok move.

One thing about this one is price might go up after the full drop with people just missing one, unless they snatch them up now for a tiny upcharge right now.

I’m still not sure what the best strategy is. Do I wait until all drops are over to see what I have, and then same thing Thursday, and then I buy the counterpart? Or do I buy everything right now? They’re selling for pretty cheap. I don’t know if prices will go up because people want to get a counterpart, or down because most people just want to sell?

I’m really thinking of getting all 5! Didn’t win any, but got the second one for $75 (winning drop price is $70). If I see the third one at $85, I’m snap buying too. Only the first one has some value, weirdly.

I did it. Bought for $85. Then I won the $90 one. #70/700 which is a cool number so maybe I’ll sell at a profit and buy a cheaper one. I don’t care about the number, I just want sets.

I have no interest at all in Saw but played the drop lottery trying to pull a #1 and got 2/5 drops. I sold the Bucket Head one for a $4 loss after fees and sold the reverse beartrap for a $20 profit after fees so coming away +$16 for the day without much effort was a good day. For Thursday I think I am going to just stick to joining the laser collar schematic with the lowest number available and the Key drop which should provide the highest value. I am fairly confident all of the schematics in the middle will sell for a loss if the corresponding traps can’t even be sold for break even.

I bought the $60 one for $70, the $70 one for $75, the $80 for $85, I won the $90 one, I bought a $100 one for $139 and sold it for a profit minutes later because it had a good serial number, then bought another one for $140 (also a good serial number), so it effectively cost me $128.

So, $448 for everything. Maybe I can sell my $90 #70/700 and/or my $100 #555/600 for profit and buy some cheaper ones with bad serial numbers.

The $200 keys should be the ones sold for a decent profit. You need one for each set and I assume more than 1000 people will have a set.

A new blog is up explaining a little more about what you get with the preseason passes and the upcoming athlete drops. Carbon and Emerald floors are going up for the most coveted athletes. Platinum owners got kind of screwed.
