So DK tweeted out millionaire maker ownership here http://playbook.draftkings.com/nfl/millionaire-maker-percent-owned-week-3/ which as of 230pm still includes ownership data for games that have not yet started. IMO this is a big leak and should never happen. It also seems like something that your average analyst should probably not have access too, and able to tell his buddies who is owned and who the best players have. Hey did you know that CSURAM has Randall Cobb going late? Given that they can access the macro results it seems probable they can access specific users during and/or before contests start.

They definitely should no be sharing it publicly, if they’re going to do it just list the full rosters in the contest and call it a day.

Where do the pros go now if they are affilated with DK or FD?

They aren’t actually employees, they are contractors. They are marketing faces for the sites. They don’t work at DK or FD on site so to speak. Think mike trout and subway for example

  • rtiedemann6

They have to receive some compensation, but I’m sure they’re 1099’d for that work

So what? It means that there is a lot of lobbying that will go on behind the scenes to keep it legal.

And are you really trying to compare the FD/DK to a pennystock?

My point was the fact that MLB, NFL, NHL, etc, are involved doesn’t mean shit in proving that no wrongdoing occurred. And your original comment seemed to suggested that it was all on the up-and-up. That’s for DK and FD to PROVE now to the NYAG, and all I asked for all along.

We will also require all customers to confirm that they are not an employee of any other third party fantasy site, and if they are, they will not be allowed to access our site.

What exactly is a third party fantasy site?

  • einars

can you imagine if robbins had said a week ago “we already contracted with an indepentant party to do an audit”….these 140 pages of witch hunt mob drivel would been worthless

this is a very strong statement imo

    I agree.

So heard francessa talking about this yesterday and was actually an interesting albeit not fully informed dialogue. He equated this directly to paramutual betting and in many ways he’s dead on. He said that the racing community has taken extensive efforts and continues to do so to protect the integrity of the betting systems and there continues to be breaches. Unless the DFS sites aggressively and continuously take steps to provide data integrity, he suggested the business is suspect and potentially in trouble

I really hope im wrong but this so much reminds me of the “potripper” days. I really hope DK and FD take very strong, aggressive and firm corrections to data integrity issues

sorry if this is all a repeat

So does this mean that everyone on the Rotogrinders Staff, whether they are an employee or subcontract employee, are banned from Playing on Fanduel ?

This won’t affect RG staff. It effects employees of sites that offer paid games. Not content sites

for instance the employee is Party 1, his employer (fan duel is Party 2) and Draft Kings ( Party 3). Its just another way of saying a competitor DFS site

Can someone please clarify, are we in danger of having our funds frozen?

This thread has brought out the crazies. Its been a rough fall for me (Im an Auburn alum and avid football fan). The only 2 message boards I go to have been hijacked, this one and an Auburn board.

I think people overreact because it’s just human nature. Everyone in today’s world believe that everyone else is looking to screw them over some how. It sucks but that is the way it is.

I am glad to see Fanduel issue such a statement. Shows they care about the industry they have helped create and obviously want to see it get even bigger.

I think Draftkings will be fine and the whole investigation by the NY AG will find no wrong doing on anyone’s part. Call me stupid but that’s just how I feel.

What does this mean for people like PetrGibbons, who have already won seats to the WFFC?

Exactly what I just said on twitter. Why not put that out in the press release Monday. None of this would have happened. This thread only had 10 pages BEFORE their first (lame) press release. Now it’s at 141 after. Their PR person should be fired.

Jason Robins when asked if anyone has contacted Draftkings to close their accounts after what has happened and said No. I suspect he flat out lied on national television. I find it hard to believe that not one person has asked Draftkings to close their account and cash out their balance. Anyone else believe him when he said not one person asked to close their account?

I bet you won’t see any apologies from the trolls if no wrong doing is found and the only issue was inadequate internal controls.

I doubt anyone has , because they all still want to play and make money

Why does it matter now? This is moving in the right direction. Any information breaches will be closed and it should be more fair. I could care less about Ethan’s or Petr’s tickets.

I don’t think the issue is whether or not YOU care about their tickets
