See on facebook Draftkings has a special announcement coming up on Feb. 26th. They have a teaser video. In it he says it will have your Cup running over. Could it be Nascar? Anyone have any idea?

I still find it unacceptable to be “paid” by a site and play at said site

Paid to promote has nothing to do with the back end of the site.

Site employees seeing the back end stuff, don’t play on the site. The DK pros have no advantage over anyone else playing on the site.

So if it’s none of your business then why make this post? Why take a shot at someone’s success? I just don’t understand what the problem is having paid pros promoting the product.

I have no idea if what Fish is saying is true but he is pointing out the hypocrisy in a few posts that have since been deleted.

My comments were about the hypocrisy and bullying.

I didn’t bully anyone and I can’t after re-reading anything I’ve written on this thread today find anything that would be able to be cause me to be labeled as a hypocrite. You clearly have some personal issue with me, which is hilarious since you’ve never met me. I don’t have the time to worry about it, let alone deal with it, so if you feel you have to go to numerous websites to try and bash me, have at it. It won’t change anything one way or the other.

Admin Note: This thread is about the new DK store. Let’s get it back on topic. If we need to discuss other things, this isn’t the place.

Can any DK rep please give me a rundown of the climate and storage conditions that the hot sauce is kept under, and verify that it’s FDA approved?

When I was growing up, my parents taught me to exercise caution when ordering and ingesting food from gaming companies. After spending the majority of 2002-2004 hospitalized with Ptomaine poisoning borne from Party Poker Salami, I’m looking to be extra careful this time around.

    Thanks fellas.

I’ve spent a great deal of time with Ethan and I can tell you there’s no one that I would trust more with the proper storage of my hot sauce.

I remember that PartyPoker Salami outbreak debacle but I wouldn’t get the FDA involved here. DFS needs self regulation, not government regulation.

Just to chime in since there’s a lot of discussion about the hype aspect:

    1) This has been one of the features most asked for by casual players. People like the logo/branding and want to have more opportunities to buy gear.

    2) This is something that isn’t easy to organize and create. There’s a lot of hard work that goes in behind the scenes to putting something like this together and the excitement/hype, on our end, is the culmination of that hard work.

    3) I can personally speak to the hype videos and I really hope that people understand the somewhat sarcastic nature of those. The video was meant to say “we’ve added all these great features, this next one is even bigger” in a sarcastic tone. I’m not winning an Oscar anytime soon though, so there’s a good chance that the sarcasm wasn’t portrayed properly.

I do understand where people are coming from, just wanted to give everyone a bit of context and background into what goes into this. If you were truly offended by all the hype, let me know and I can send you an autographed item of clothing from my horrifying acting debut (limited supplies obviously)

I wouldn’t mind buying one of those DK shirts that were in the Twitter Swag Bag Giveaways a couple of months ago

I’m not buying shit until there is a Build-a-Bear-esque sock puppet customizer or a nerd statute with bikini girls clawing at him.

Nice addition to the site, but ridiculous way of presenting it.

And I’m pretty sure some people get paid to wear DK stuff.

Maybe those people should stfu about others paying for it, but that’s none of my business.

I do not believe in paying someone else to be a walking advertisement, but to each their own…I feel like promotional items should be just that, promotional (I love my FD swag I got for free, so I can’t say I won’t rep it if given but I wouldn’t have paid for it). Some of the experience stuff looks really cool, though, and a great addition to just buying tickets.
