Just went public symbol DKNG and its at like $19.35 a share . I definitely think it will be a $100 stock in a few years just wondering though with sports on hold if anyone thinks it will go lower than $19 soon or just get in now and keep slowly buying .

I don’t play dk but is the assumption they will or do they have traditional sports betting? To be honest I stayed away because i think they dried out the daily fantasy sports money, although it may come back assuming we get back to normal at some point. Bottom line, I have no faith in daily fantasy being profitable but if they are leading in online (traditional) gambling I’m in.

Why the lack of faith in DFS being profitable? Draftkings makes like 15% of the action with very little overhead and the industry is still growing.

as he just said, theres a chance the # casual players takes a pretty hard downturn. Eventually the average joe who comes along these days wont be coming along in a few years, or at least thats the fear. And again as he said, what makes the stock intriguing is not earnings from DFS, its the potential to be a giant online betting site. Thats really where the upside is.

The problem with this argument is that it has been the same one for the last 5+ years yet DFS and Draftkings is continuing to grow year over year. I think that there will always be a market for DFS and the threat of there being a cliff where all the casual players disappearing is overblown as not everyone who plays causally cares about losing money if they do for the entertainment and the dream of winning a big prize.
