    Bravo Draftkings, great move!

  • prudcck

Great news. Happy to hear they stepped up and are building goodwill for themselves and the industry.

My customer loyalty to DK has just increased 300% or more. Already liked it far more than FanDuel for the difficulty of NBA pricing and lack of a PK in football. Add in that it is still fighting in Texas and now this – you’ve won me over Draftkings! Thanks!

Now figure out how I can keep playing in Texas :-)

  • tvsfrink

I’ve been saving this gif for weeks.

And huge props to DK. I moved my NHL business over there once FH disappeared, and I’m glad I did.

An entire wheel of cheese? How’d you do that? I’m not even mad. Amazing.

Plenty of times and places to sling mud at DraftKings… but this thread?

There is no mud slinging, that’s why I started my post the way I did. My point is that they almost ruined this whole industry, realized what they did, and decided to make a decent PR move right now. If it wasn’t for gluttonous advertising and trying to get as many fish as they could, there would be no need to “rescue” anybody today.
Again, I respect what they did for FH players; they were under no obligation to do that.

What size tin hat do you wear?

Advertising did not almost “destroy the industry.”

Growth is a necessary component of the DFS economy. This legal definition battle was due/necessary eventually. The IRS/States would probably notice people winning a million dollars from a milly maker come tax time and check things out.

But there is no need to clutter up this thread with conspiracy theory nonsense. Kudos to DraftKings for this move.

Read, bro. Expand your horizons, it will set you free. Don’t be afraid of education.

Don’t get me wrong, it is still great that people got their money back. But knight in shining armor? Puhlease.

Sounds like the words of a bitter losing DFS player. Even if you truly think DK messed up with all the NFL commercials a few months ago, it appears they are trying to turn things around and help the industry. Not the right time to point out their mistakes.

    transfer was easy…
I am thinking that’s why it took so long so it would be EZ..getting the tech in order takes time .
Draft Kings did an awesome thing, but if it wasn’t for this community, if it wasn’t for us, if wasn’t for Cal, to give us a forum to expose and vent and demand accountability, we might have just got ripped off.

sorry I type slow and try t not post when I’m drunk, so by the time i find out about this good outcome I am way behind ASSHAT777 for dogging DK but he plays golf as do I..FH had it Victiv had it

Thanks DK thanks RG…. next POCKET ACES….
    DRAFTKINGS BAILS OUT FANDUEL….YAHOO!!!!

    Well done DraftKings! Much respect.

    Nice move by DK

Have to say I don’t see this being a huge liability for them. I’m sure there will be some sort of rollover and the vast majority of players lose balances to rake. Meanwhile they increase their player base by acquiring some new accounts and getting more play from goodwill. This sort of thing happened frequently in online sportsbetting. Those sportsbooks did and probably still do match deposits with up to 100% freeplays.

Like I said, stand up move by DK, but don’t worry too much about the liability for them

I don’t believe there is any rollover. From what I understand you can withdraw it immediately if you want. Good move by DK though. I wouldn’t have deposited the money their site but now that its there I will just leave it as it doubles my current bankroll there and means I may move up in stakes for MLB.

Well that would really be something if there was no rollover. Let us know

The email I got states the following “Even if you are new to our site, you can simply move your FantasyHub account over to DraftKings, where you will immediately have access to your full balance for withdrawal, or to continue playing the thousands of exciting DFS contests that we offer.” So looks like no rollover.

By terminology no, but they did acquire the players’ bank accounts which was the main point. I just wanted to highlight how not everything is doom and gloom because there was silence from FantasyHub. That whole thread was a crazy witch hunt and it only took a couple weeks to play out positively.

This guy should be banned from rg and never be able to post again just by the fact of how stupid this post is…..A crazy witch hunt? WHICH PROVED TO BE RIGHT….lol people obviously had the right to be concerned and look THEY WERE ALL RIGHT…..god this post just tilted the shit outta me…bye

Well, except for all the people saying the “third party” was bull and we’d never see our money again…

  • mrboyer206

Wow very easy to get my money transferred. Impressive.

  • Njsum1

After seeing 64 pages in the original thread dedicated to the deplorable mess FH created for itself and its users, it’s a bit disappointing (albeit not surprising) to see only 2 pages (so far) commending Draft Kings for their magnanimous show of support for both the industry and its players.

  • ArvidEngen

This is a fantastic move by DraftKings. Kudos to them.

Now I have a question for the RG support team. I am one of the few who had a FH account but not a DK account. Clearly, I’m going to create a DK account to get my FH funds back. My question is two-fold:

    1) As a FH Grinders Incentives member, will the remaining time for my FH Incentives become DK Incentives?

    2) If not (or if so, really), can I signup for DK through RG then, once my account is created, transfer my FH funds to DK and have that count as a deposit to get the Incentives?

    Thanks!

    Cool, thanks for responding.

Either way, the important thing is that FH players are getting their money (I actually didn’t even know the problem existed, as I took a break from fantasy after football season). Good on DK.

  • infulfx

This a great move by DK. I took a break from playing NBA at DK since I’m having more success with FD but I have sone funds now to play.

It was also easy to transfer the funds into my DK account.
