I play on both sites pretty consistently and I vary between the $3-4 GPPs and the $20-33 GPPs on a nightly basis.

I play cash games on both sides as well mainly $10 & 25 double ups and $1-5 H2H.

But I feel like the more I play I am having more success on DK vs FD. I have been feeling like it is easier to cash on DK, but some have told me that they feel the opposite and its easier to cash on FD.

Thoughts on which one you prefer if you prefer one to another?

I’m in the same boat as you. I feel like I cash way more on DK then I do on FD. The DK GPP’s especially.

I am actually looking to move from FD to DK so I will ask my questions here since I play the same level of GPPs.
How has MPE changed lineup construction over there? When running projections how much do you factor in the bonuses?

Basically getting frustrated with FD being slow to change prices and position eligibility. I personally feel it is making it tougher to cash because more people are landing on the same players so it is really becoming a game of fading the right people and hitting the one punt. I know scoring is up and high owned guys kill value occasionally but I feel like I have lost alot of the edges I was able to find in previous season.

Do the math….some of the DK GPP’s pay out up to 27% of the field. The FD GPP’s are usually about 19-20%. May be why you feel that way.

MPE is huge when it comes to lineup construction IMO. But its goes both ways its good because it allows for more flexibility and switch things around, but when youre tinkering and the tinkering leads to a bad case of the tilts it makes you questions things because you can move guys around in our lineup and open up a whole other set of people with the money you have left.

and as for the bonuses I factor them in for sure. Its an extra 1.5-3 points.

First post on Rotogrinder. Speaking from personal experience I have tried Draftkings on multiple occasions, dabbling to see the differences. My initial impression was that DK had a ugly interface and app design compared to FD’s smooth simplistic design. I find it much easier to cash on FD and you just need to be confident and have a unconventional line to win. I play FD daily, I love NBA and I’ve had some decent finishes the past two months. Stick to what you like best because it all comes down to personal preference and opinion.

That’s the problem with DK. Paying out 27% to the field in a gpp is ridiculous. You are in a gpp to win big money not to barely finish in money and double your money.

I actually win more on DK in all sports but MLB and I still find myself gravitating towards FD. I think it’s because of the cartoonish website DK has.

Exactly why I play on FD more now. I cash far less but at least I know if I win a big GPP there it will be a nice chunk of money. On DK in Football earlier this year I finally won a huge GPP only to get 3% of the prize pool for 1st.

You will probably have a higher cash percentage in tourneys on DK because like everyone has said. Also, 8/8 is easier than 9/9 picks. Position flexibility also helps, because having to pick two SG’s or two SF’s on nights where there are only terrible 4-5k guys who are super inconsistent on FD can often lead to frustration. But, beating 90% of the field and barely doubling your money can also get annoying, so it’s good and bad.

really depends on your volume of play honestly as in trying to draw a true comparisons I feel

In your case, what do your results say? R U better on Dk as opposed to FD?

Either way, I suggest u FIND DK more palatable b/c you have one less land mine to avoid on a nightly basis.

The DK website is flat out brutal – poorly designed, hard to read, terrible color scheme, cartoony, amateurish, etc…. Hoping when they merge, they adopt the FD website and the better pricing and bonuses from DK.
