BANKROLL FORUM

Tried to search the forum, but couldn’t get the feature to work on my phone.

Can anybody update me on timeframes for withdrawal via Paypal. I just started playing there after a long break. They told me they are processed Monday-Friday, in the order they are received. Then said, once it’s been processed I would get an email letting me know it had been completed, and how the money was refunded. And that after that, I could expect the money in my Payal account within 2-5 days.

The last line didn’t make sense to me, as if they processed the withdrawal it should be in my paypal immediately, and not another 2-5 days after they sent it.

You get the withdrawal email pretty quickly and then it takes a couple days for the deposit into Paypal. Love that float.

My experience has been positive with their withdrawal process. If you initiate a withdrawal, you should expect it in your PayPal account the following day. Important thing to remember is they first refund any previous deposits and if that deposit is still pending with your bank, the PayPal status will be pending until it clears.

Right. Once you submit a withdrawal process you get an email saying that you requested one. Then the Draftkings person I was speaking with stated that, after you request a withdrawal, they are processed in the order they are received. So it could take a few days. Then, you get a second email letting you know that the withdrawal has been completed, AKA that they sent you the funds. This is where Draftkings stated it would take 2-5 days for the money to be into my paypal account. Why would it take 2-5 days AFTER they sent the money, for it to show up in my paypal account? I get that it may take them 2-5 days after I request the withdrawal, for them to send it. It should not take another 2-5 days AFTER they have sent it, for it to show up in my PP account.

Float. Look the term up and you’ll understand better why some institutions do what they do when they are transferring money.

I understand what float is. I’ve sent money a million times on Paypal. Either by PayPal balance, debit card, or checking account, and the recipient has never had to wait until the transaction cleared.

Furthermore, I don’t ever recall it taking that long in the past with draftkings. Once you got the email that the withdrawal had been processed, you could look in your paypal and it would be in there. You didn’t have to wait another 2-5 days.

Also, if this is the case, why can you get a paypal withdrawal on fanduel within 24 hour of requesting it?
