As if I didn’t have enough money tied up in the FantasyHub situation I’m now wondering what is up with Draftops. I requested a withdrawal by PayPal on the 12th and my two emails to their support team have gone unanswered. Anyone else experiencing a similar delay?

Don’t know… but HEARD they were GREAT guys..

You’ve literally added nothing to any thread with your comments. Find a new hobby other than trolling people constantly. For those who have had actual issues, I’d appreciate your feedback as I’ve still not heard back from them.

I just put in a withdrawal request today, message said 5-7 business days for PayPal transactions. I’ll update on this thread one way or the other.

Not trying to be jerk or kick you while you’re down (and I’m not talking to you specifically, I feel bad for you it would be awful to be in this situation), but why do you guys play on these small sites? It’s not to avoid sharks because obviously an inexperienced player trying DFS for the first time is gonna be playing on DK or FD. Like yeah, it might be easier to win, but none of these sites seemed sketchy to you? The insane promotions they have to entice you to make a deposit didn’t raise any red flags? I mean I sort of get it, like once you fall into the rabbit hole it’s tough to see things for what they are, but DK, FD, Yahoo, and maybe Fantasy Aces (3rd/4th most popular DFS site?) are the only sites I’d trust enough with my money. Even then I don’t feel 100% safe with an uncertain future for DFS. To quote Jay, “It was all good just a week ago”

And sorry, I’m not trying to be a troll or derail the discussion, I’m legitimately curious.

I honestly don’t remember seeing any message saying 5-7 business days for PayPal. That seems like a long time regardless but if that’s the case then they are still within the time frame for my withdrawal.

I’ve emailed support on several occasions and I can say the response time from their support team has been a lot slower recently compared to a few months ago. In the past, their pay pal withdrawals were processed pretty quickly. I withdrew everything from the site since after NFL season the contests kinda dried up there. Sorry, wish I had more useful information for ya.

I withdrew my money about 2 weeks ago from draftops and it took 3 business days via paypal.

Honestly, the only thing I would do differently is to withdraw profits sooner and only leave the balance there I originally started with. I’ve done so on the other three sites I play on (including the big 2) so I guess thanks for the lesson FH?

Disagree Had to listen to your buddy respond with those same type of comments on the no pay Fantasy Hub thread

For me it was looking for overlay and taking advantage of different promotions being offered (most of them being ones offered through the RotoGrinders forum. Sign up and get free entries, etc). I liked the NFL contests on Draftops and when they had them for a short while, MMA. There were some guaranteed NFL contests for 2000 people that would get 1200-1400 entries. Fantasydraft had similar type of overlay some weeks and for the same reason I’d play there too.

  • bruski

I too have had issues since day 1 with them and if you complain they only get worse. RG should vet places they put links up to as we count on them to only represent good sites

My mistake, it’s actually within 5 business days for PayPal transactions and 7-10 business days for checks.

this is the most naive comment ever.

so you wanted free shit, and you got it, but now it’s not working out, so you have a complaint?

    LOL

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

stop giving your money to random goddamn sites that make everything look like it’s free or a bonus.

We do vet the sites we work with. There are dozens more than what you see here. That said, the FantasyHub situation makes it clear that our vetting is not foolproof – player balances need auditing.

Draft Ops is owned by the Doumani family. They reportedly raised $7mm. They sponsor the Rich Eisen show, the Barclays Center, and a handful of professional teams. I’m not saying they don’t/won’t have issues, but that’s a good background for passing a vetting process.

I don’t have a complaint. I was responding to the question of why I decide to play on a smaller site like DraftOps. I played on there up until NFL season ended and when they stopped offering MMA.

  • MrFantasy

Just to comment I actually did get paid out tonight. I suppose I just missed that they take 5-7 business days for PayPal withdrawals and while that seems like a while they still did pay me out within their time frame.

  • ranoa513

I think it’s totally understandable to be a little jumpy given the climate we are in right now. Operators need to be responding to requests about player withdrawals with more urgency if they don’t want to see more posts like this popping up.

  • umpire1970

It took about 7 days to get my withdrawal through Paypal. Took awhile but I did receive it.

I’d always advocated for small sites, but they need to realize that slow payouts will create doubt and perception is reality in our industry. And by slow payouts, I mean, in comparison to the big sites. FD/DK/Yahoo almost always pay me within 1 business day and most of the time, I get it same day.

After checking this thread this morning, I did a withdrawal and it was in my paypal account in less than 3 hours today…Saturday..

  • edro990

My funds were in my PayPal account last night, same day as request. Gotta give DraftOps credit, that was the fastest payout I’ve received from any of the “non big 2” sites.

I play on four sites, DK, FD, FH, and DP. I played NFL every week on all four sites. I played NHL every single night on FH. I play NBA a few nights a week on FD, and occasional NHL on DK.

90% of my play is cash games, which are not tracked by RG. My biggest score was $200 in an FD freeroll, which is not tracked by RG. My second biggest score was $130 in a $15 tournament on DP, which should have been tracked by RG but wasn’t. I play DFS every day.

Are you ready to admit you don’t know what you are talking about? Or do you just want to keep playing the moron?
