So on ds when you clicked on players profiles you were able to see how many fantasy points that particular player avaraged against the team he was playing against that night. I really miss that feature because sometimes it would help me out choose between two players in the same price point. Is there any way I can get those stats????

  • spartans22

On espn it shows their stats against that team for the year, thats all I can think of

  • fcbjakub

ds thing took into account like 20 games or so

  • bgizzle714

on DK if you go to the splits tab, it shows how they did vs their opponent this year. It’s not 20 games, but it helps a little.

draftstreet was twice the site that dk is now its not even close

Except for the part where they don’t exist anymore. I’ll take this one for you … “Yeah, but still.”

Yeah, I still don’t understand why DK didn’t just operate both DS and DK under one company (DK). They could have run them out of the same office with crosstrained customer support people and crosstrained developers and engineers.

They could have scaled back GPPs on DS and just raked in a ton of money from cash games while running huge GPPs on DK and still doing a ton of cash games on DK.

DK has incorporated literally nothing from DS as far as pricing, game play, rewards, etc. I wonder how much DK paid for a customer list?

We incorporated Soccer and this week, their VIP store. 2 of the most requested features. We hope to incorporate features such as snake drafts in the future however something like that is a very large project from a development and testing perspective.

Just give us some time and we’ll give you everything you loved about DS!

Thanks for the response, but the thing that made Draftstreet great was the roster setup and the player pricing as well as rewards (three awards tiers). I am not sure if it would even be feasible to add a pricing mode similar to what DraftStreet had.

Snake drafts will be great though, I will start playing DK again when you guys add those.

Can you give us the NCAA survivor at affordable price points?

I loved the RP option on DS baseball. No one else offered that punt!

Do you guys want me to refer you to 3 college kids who could program and develop snake draft capability for your site in 3-4 days? :) I kid. But with all the resources available to you guys, I’m shocked something relatively basic (users taking turns picking players) would take so long. Especially knowing how much demand their is in that niche, and that the market leader doesn’t offer it.

I’m not sure how Soccer and a VIP store could be the 2 most requested features but I think everybody that used Draftstreet regularly misses the core things that made the site the best.

    -Salary structure(20k for stud, 3k for a scrub compared to 10k for a stud,3k for a scrub)
    -Roster construction(2 QB/2 RB/2 WRs/2 FLEX) compared to 1 QB/1 FLEx/3 WR(highest variance position)
-Tournament size – 200/300/500 and even 1000 man tournaments were awesome. Almost all DK tourneys have 10k+ people which is ridiculous.
-Entry limits: I dont feel like playing against a guy entering 3000 teams on a wildcard NFL weekend when I’m entering 1 team. Once a single entry tourney fills the only options left are 50 man single entries.
    -Customer Service
-Tiered bonus system compared to playing for a month for a 2$ voucher reward.

I can keep going but DK is nowhere close to what DS was and it is a shame that the best site got taken away essentially.

100% agree with this. It really is a shame that DK destroyed DraftStreet instead of operating both sites under the same company. Heck I wish MGT would have bought DraftStreet instead of DK, maybe DraftStreet would still be around and not scrapped for a worse product.

And everything that DraftKings is implementing from DraftStreet they could have implemented without buying DraftStreet. The thing to buy from DraftStreet would have the salary algorithm. So I struggle to see how buying DS made any sense for DK besides buying a customer list (customers who would find DK on their own anyway with all the commercials DK runs).
