ESPN’s Outside the Lines is advertising a piece of the future of DFS.

Airs today at 1:30pm EST on ESPN.

Thought I’d pass this on as this show has been impactful on DFS this past year. Hope they paint DFS with justice.

Already not liking a caption on their twitter that says, “Gambling for the future.”

    Amen.

Whoever dreamed up the 2015 DFS NFL ads must have been in middle school.Guys jumping on sofas that
they just won huge $$ etc—what a crock.

Not a bad piece at all. Dan handled that very well IMO. I still believe there could be more limits put on number of entries per tournament, but thats the only thing that would even the playing field a little more to bring in more new customers.

yeah, i think thats as a big a problem as any… its not reality,, or these guys have these websites, and the users don’t win shyt but they go on and on how much how they won 5 figures last night, or whatever the amount may be…

i like the fantasy station typically, but on any given day if you go on there in the afternoon you’ll hear how great they did the night before… i won 20k in this, or i won 5 figures, well most people dont have that much in an account to enter a gold glove or a 1065 contest on fan duel.
they dont mention…that the contest where they won so much was 5k thunderdome that had 10 people in it, not a 3 dollar gpp like the ads talk about

it gives unrealistic expectations because the full story isnt in context..

    i won 10k last night on fanduel……but i had a 11k in action
i won 10k last night on fanduel.. but i only played 3 dollars in action

same sentence without backstory makes everyone think they can win big
