This week there are TWO qualifiers for the DRAFT Live Final in Nashville!

DRAFT has unveiled a new feature – multiplayer draft tournaments – and this week players can compete for two Golden Tickets up for grabs in this new format! Unlike the h2h tournaments, in multiplayer draft tournaments players are grouped into a snake draft, with the winner of each group advancing to the next round of drafting.

To celebrate the addition of this new format, you can earn a $10 ticket by making a $100 deposit. Use this ticket to try the Inaugural multiplayer draft tournament with a guaranteed $35,00 prize pool!

There’s also an exclusive promo for RotoGrinders-referred DRAFT players new and old: earn an additional $10 ticket for EVERY $100 deposit you make, up to 10 tickets!

Enter into either the $65 216-man multiplayer draft tourney (6-player snake draft), or the $110 125-man contest (5-player snake draft) for your chance at a trip to Nashville for the live final event!

Tickets will be awarded within 24-hours of deposit. Promotion lasts only for Week 6. You must play through your deposit prior to withdrawal.

How to Qualify for the $100,000 Live Final

Each week there will be a new Qualifier Tournament where the winner earns a Golden Ticket. Each Golden Ticket provides hotel and airfare (with a +1) to the RotoGrinders DRAFT Party here in Nashville along with entry into the DRAFT live final event!

The Live Final consists of a live draft during the Saturday party and the viewing party on Sunday where players will compete for their share of the $100K prize.

    Prize Payouts

The Live Final payout structure is as follows:
    1. $40,000
    2. $25,000
    3. $10,000
    4. $7,000
    5. $5,000
    6. $4,000
    7. $3,000
    8. $2,500
    9. $2,000
    10. $1,500

Rack up those $10 tickets, enjoy the weekend games, and most of all, best of luck in this week’s qualifiers!

Love the promo, I just reloaded $100 after not having deposited since blowing through a $100 on best balls. Two questions: (1) I just entered the Inaugural $10 tourney, and the $10 was deducted. Will I receive a credit later? (2) I’m confused about how these brackets work from a logistical standpoint. I like the drafts because I know when I enter that I am almost certainly going to have a draft start real soon. But, from the sound of this bracket tournament, I don’t know when it will start. What if I’m in the middle of watching Harvey Weinstein bathe or in the midst of a Trump tweet hailstorm and can’t get away? It just seems like the uncertainty over when the draft starts is a major barrier. Am I missing something?

Edited to add: I see now. Saturday at 6:00. Thanks!

The draft starts at 8 saturday, pretty sure that’s in ET.

    when does deposit promo expire?

I deposited a day or two ago for the 10 dollar free ticket. How do you get the rotogrinders one? I think I joined through their referral so I should be eligible

Yeah, sorry if I promoted confusion here, not my intent. The app says 6:00 for me, which I assume was adjusted to my time zone and is 6:00 Pacific. But, your post worries me, as that would be 9:00 EST and not 8:00 EST.

    Can a rep confirm?

You are correct, it’s 9:00 Eastern, 6:00 Pacific. The time you see in the app is your local time.

When are the rotogrinders bonus entries being deposited. I still don’t have any and I deposited 200 this weekend after the deal was announced

Is there anyway to see the brackets? I signed up on Sunday and advanced in the $110 qualifier. I’d think there would be a way to see the other semifinalist names and what the bracket looked like.

Also I assume the limit is one qualifier entry per person? Meaning it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to play in a new round if you are a current semifinalist or finalist from a previous week.

Hey darko3131 – We are actively working on a bracket style view for tournaments larger than H2H. Right now you can only see your opponents for that round when drafts are created. If you were to win two Golden Tickets, you would be awarded equity for your 2nd entry.

Hope that helps clear things up! If you have more questions post here or email me: Justin @ draft.com

Thanks for confirming the equity for the 2nd entry. I assume that would be $10K.

The bracket viewing would be very helpful..almost necessary, otherwise you seem to just be flying blind. For example can you help me out on what is going on with Qualifier #6 I think it is, the 5 person one.

85 people registered and I was 1st/5 in the quarterfinals. I assumed since the number of people registered is divisible by 5 that only 17 people remained for the semifinals.

Last week in the semifinals I was in another group of 5. Without seeing the bracket I have no idea what’s going on but would assume that 17 got divided up between 3 groups of 4 and one group of 5. I assumed I drew the short stick and the computer randomly put me into a larger field, but no big deal at least the finals should only be 4 people because of the overlay.

But now I see the finals contains 5 names and not 4?

Yeah, you guys gotta find a way to show the entire bracket.

I lost in the first round on both of my attempts to qualify for the golden ticket but I’m in a bunch of other bracket type tournaments.

I’m much less inclined to keep entering when I can’t view the entire thing.

Just bothered to read the fine print and now see that “Wildcards” are added to the pool. Guess that means that 8 people that didn’t finish 1/5 in the quarters would have been added to the 17 that got 1st place to fill up the semis with 25 entries. Not the structure I’d prefer but fair enough.

That being the case I’d think that would be even more reason to get the viewable brackets up asap. If someone finishes in 2nd place they basically have no idea if they qualify for a wildcard or not because they can’t see the other portions of the bracket and their scores? Or am I missing something?

Definitely understand the confusion here! We’re actively working on a way to show progress in tournaments. Will have that live in the coming weeks.

I don’t know if this is the right place for this but I’ll suggest it here anyway.

With the new “when filled” tournament options I feel like there should be a way to reserve a seat or another option such as join and then click a draft later at whatever time you want before the tournament starts.

For example the 10 dollar football big tournament is a when filled. I don’t normally do my research until Thursday or Friday. It would be great if we could enter now and click a draft later option. The draft later could be a scheduled time like other drafts have or a button that says draft now and when you click that you get put into the when filled category and draft almost immediately.

I know right now it won’t be a problem joining Friday or Saturday but the same goes for basketball and other tournaments. I feel like I’m joining right away so I don’t forget about them but now I’m at a disadvantage because I haven’t done my research yet.
