    Expert LUs

First, let me go on record as saying i never like the way the expert line-ups were being used. However, i think removing them from rotogrinders is not going to solve anything. Obviously, there is amarket for this kind of thing and someone will come along sooner rather than later to fill the void. The sites need to address the issue of LU sharing themselves and punish the players. The ganging up in 50/50s has gotten out of hand. To me it is no diff than 7 guys entering the same room on poker stars and telling each other there hole cards. The fact that the sites would allow this kind of behavior only makes daily players question their trustability. The cut and pasting of a generic LU by anyone should be aggressivily fought. The owners of the site need to find a way to track and end any and all LU sharing if they want the industry to continue to grow.

lol that was like an evil swarm of bees flying back and forth all night. pretty funny.

haha. Craziness. That was bound to happen in a higher buy-in 3-game night, w/ loose pricing.

I’m most excited for a Tough Monkeys siting here. That’s old school!

Yeah I think a night like this has got to be a big sign to fanduel they need to change their roster salary/roster cap size to 100k. This would never happen on draftstreet or starstreet where the rosters/salary cap is so deep and flexible. Nothing worse than matches ending in a tie. And I know it happens a ton on fanduel.

Salary cap total has no impact on this. Sites with 100k salary cap hve higher player values. So if FD increased their cap to 100k they’d have to increase the player costs as well. Last night should not be over analyzed with only 3 games. Once you picked westy KOBE and KD it was over. Now if one wants to argue that salary structure should be such that it makes it impossible to field a roster with 3 virtually max salary players that argument had merit.

Here is how I think to avoid this:
I have always loved Expert games. I long pushed FD to make expert GPPs for MLB. I have always found that my knowledge of the bottom of roster is much better than the common player. I think my h2h winning % is close to 70%.
When you only have the coin to play one maybe two stud players one has to choose wisely or be very savvy with the cheap guys.
I doubt there is a market for Expert line Sharing or posting at this point.

Line up sharing is pointless in HU leagues.

Agree with everything Jacksoda said here’s a more recent example I found quick since some of you were complaining about how his example was too old…

7 lineups tied for 15th and 5 lineups tied for 27th..some big names in there so maybe this is probably more of an example of expert lineups I’d imagine but jacks point is still valid.
