I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else but all of a sudden when I attempted to sign into my FanDuel account, I see a message saying: “User suspended or deactivated Your account has been suspended from further use pending the outcome of an internal investigation (please contact us if you want further details)”
Obviously, I contacted them and they needed ID verification(driver’s license). I sent a copy of my DL and now it’s been over 24 hours and still NO word from them on progress/status of my account.
So, now this is getting kind of frustrating.
First of all, I have no idea why my account would get flagged for ANYTHING suspicious….I don’t deposit large sums of money, I play normal, modest denomination tournaments, and I’ve never withdrew money…so I don’t get this account suspension.
But whatever…I understand they have jobs to do and have other accounts to manage…but my main issue is I haven’t received any new status updates AND it’s been over 24 hours since this issue was brought up. I mean, do you need other info? Are you still investigating? Is something else the issue? At least tell me something so I can know it’s being worked on.
And I hope when(or if) it gets resolved, they have placed the funds I had in games that day back in my account….that’s something else I would like to know.
What will it take to get insight into the progress? Is this the norm for FD(or even other DFS) as far as turn around time to get issues resolved? Is this normal protocol as far as communication to customers?
Just wondering and venting as well.
Let me know if I should be concerned or if I’m just overly sensitive right now.
