    I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else but all of a sudden when I attempted to sign into my FanDuel account, I see a message saying: “User suspended or deactivated Your account has been suspended from further use pending the outcome of an internal investigation (please contact us if you want further details)”

    Obviously, I contacted them and they needed ID verification(driver’s license). I sent a copy of my DL and now it’s been over 24 hours and still NO word from them on progress/status of my account.

    So, now this is getting kind of frustrating.

    First of all, I have no idea why my account would get flagged for ANYTHING suspicious….I don’t deposit large sums of money, I play normal, modest denomination tournaments, and I’ve never withdrew money…so I don’t get this account suspension.

    But whatever…I understand they have jobs to do and have other accounts to manage…but my main issue is I haven’t received any new status updates AND it’s been over 24 hours since this issue was brought up. I mean, do you need other info? Are you still investigating? Is something else the issue? At least tell me something so I can know it’s being worked on.

    And I hope when(or if) it gets resolved, they have placed the funds I had in games that day back in my account….that’s something else I would like to know.

    What will it take to get insight into the progress? Is this the norm for FD(or even other DFS) as far as turn around time to get issues resolved? Is this normal protocol as far as communication to customers?

    Just wondering and venting as well.

    Let me know if I should be concerned or if I’m just overly sensitive right now.

    I know they did this for a lot of customers (myself included) toward the end of 2015.

    Hopefully you’ll get everything reinstated soon enough. Certainly stay in contact with support.

    They did this to me for no reason at all and I told them to screw off and won’t play on there again. I have sent in my stuff twice before and have withdrawn and deposit countless times. I’m done with FD.

    I contacted them through the live chat and the guy said I had to fill out some tax form and that he would email it to me. He sent me what I had to fill out. Took less than 5 minutes and my account was reinstated.

    The communication and customer service at fanduel is horrible. They shouldnt blind side their customers by freezing accounts without explanation and then when you provide what they ask for make you continue to wait around wondering what is going on. Its a bad way to do business, obviously if they need the tax information thats fine but it can be handled so much better on their end. They take their customers for granted, plain and simple.

    My experiences have been the complete opposite. FanDuel has always provided great customer service to me. And for the comments above, seems they have for others as well. Any issues that I’ve had have been solved quickly.

    Try deactivating your fd acc then waiting three months like they said for self exclusion and being told no u cant play here. Has anyone else had this happen?

    Never have had any issues with fanduel. Their support has always responded to me extremely fast.

    Also never had an issue…. Withdrew money yesterday, and accidently put the wrong amount in, emailed support, and they canceled the withdraw within 30 mins.

    i had this happen at DK, they were investigating if i was logging in from two accounts, mine (in nj) and another (in California)…their proof? the person in california had a last name that looked like mine LOL. it took about 30 minutes to clear up, I had to upload the usual docs and it was quickly cleared up.

    You need to stay on top of it—it sucks as you would think it would be the other way around since youre the customer, but that’s not how these companies work. You have to be your own advocate. Get support on chat and don’t let them off until they clear it up. if you just wait for them to do it, the next slate you play will in in 2018.

    Is a FanDuel a account suspended for duplicate accounts a lifetime permanent lifetime ban ? Or is there a way to correct reverse the ban ?

    I just got an e mail from fan duel saying starting May 31st 2019, they will be charging my acct a monthly fee of 2.99 unless I play in a tourney or withdraw remaining funds. The only problem is I have a balance of .70 and the minimum withdraw is $1. They have to be joking. Im going to be charged a fee because I don’t want to use their site!
