3/5 was 2k entries short of filling.
tonight will probably have the same issue with people being scared off by the 310.
3/1 was $3.97 for the big $3, it had a BTS req of just 275

3/5 $3 was $19.97
Its a total waste, your better off just playing extra gpps instead of hoping to win 15$
Gotta play the $25 level if you can afford it
Anyone know the $25 Beat the Score 330 GPP payouts for 3/6/18? I saw that there was overlay but was too scared to enter it due to being at work during lock time.
Wrong
I was curious about last nights $12 BTS

What did last night’s $3 (310 pt) contest pay?
It paid $12.86

So far, seems like it’s best to play these when the score is elevated. Last two nights the $3 scores were above 300 and the payouts were considerable relative to buy-in.
total waste
i personally think the beat the score format is a breath of fresh air, even though the rake still sucks, you are competing against yourself instead of the field, in truth the better the field does the less you can make, but any profit is a positive. i really love how fd has become very innovative this year, i cannot even name the different types of new contests they have come out with. it would be nice if they would try to push one of them for more than the week after they introduce it. its almost like the throw a new contest format out every week, they are not giving enough time for the new format they just introduced to resonate, but i still like the idea that they are trying to introduce variety to their product(even though the rake still sucks).
I’m looking forward to everyone winning $0.41 tonight in the beat the score freeroll.
I prefer playing the $7 and $12 ones

Not really. Your score will determine whether you win or not but the field determines how much you win, which makes a big difference over the long haul.
I agree with what the person above wrote, why not just enter a gpp and if you get 300 you’ll still make money but if you get a 340 you’ll make more. I saw one person last night with a 299.9 who made $0. Would have cashed in a gpp. And another with a 370 who made the same as the people who got 300.
DraftDay used to have these all the time back in the day. Called them Target games I believe, nothing innovative by FD.
Best part if I remember correctly is that sometimes the Target was set too high, nobody won and they carried the money over to the next day…not sure that was legal.
Beat the score is not the only thing that i was talking about in regards to fd being innovative. I am really enjoying their new OFF/DEF format for NBA. yesterday kicked me in the ass on beat the score though, i was .7 from the target, but i will not be discouraged by one bad break. But my new cash game strategy on fd is the $1 beat the score(target is 275 on most nights my average score on fd is 285)
Saturday (March 10) had some low cash lines in the NBA. If you entered the $3 (270 points needed) you could have turned it into $144.51. Not a bad rate of return if you hit on that day!
My friend (not really, don’t know the guy) carlitos_barca turned $60 into $2,890.20 with his 20 entries.

Fun game… glad Fd added it
If you entered the $3 last night, you had to beat 275. If you did that, you earned -0.41 cents and turned your $3 into $2.59. Not ideal.

I’m sorry but for a game type you should never have an outcome where the best you can do on a given night is lose money. While if everyone wins they refund money yet for some reason if one person doesn’t its acceptable to where the best outcome is to lose money scratches head. Is it that absurd to not to rake customers on a crappy beat the score night where they are responsible for raising the bar?
