I’m just wondering what other peoples timeline has been in receiving a cheque from FanDuel. I requested a cheque on Dec 26th and got notified on the 28th it was approved and mailed out. In their email they mention a 2-5 business day delivery time frame. I haven’t received anything as of today. I realize it was the holiday season and I’m in Canada (Mississauga to be exact) but this seems a bit long. I reached out to FanDuel support for the first time today and was basically told to wait.

I requested a check from them on 12/24 Approved 12/26 and just got it Monday….. So it takes time— Got sick of that and just made a paypal acct.

I did that too at first. I’m in New Brunswick and it took a little over a month when it was all said and done. I ended up telling FanDuel to put a stop payment on the cheque and opened a PayPal account. All told, it took roughly 6 weeks before I got my first withdrawal. My advice is to just wait until you get the cheque and then setup a PayPal account.

plan on 9-10 days for a fanduel check to come in the mail

Thanks everyone and from now on its paypal

The first time I ever withdrawn money, it was by check, which from the time I cashed it out to the time I got the check took about 10 business days to receive it. Now I always cash out through PayPal because it shows in my PayPal account within a few hours to a day, then from PayPal to my bank account takes another day at most

I ended up contacting FanDuel and had them stop payment on and cancel the cheque. Today is day 18 since the withdrawal was done and I’m tired of waiting. Now 2-4 business days for the funds to be reflected back in my FD account, then a Paypal withdrawal. I’m usually patient with this kind of thing but I’ll admit I’m not at all happy with this situation.

What will happen is the cheque will still arrive, so don’t go to the bank with it. I stuck it to my fridge for a few months just to highlight my first actual withdrawal. It took me several attempts with FanDuel support, but it should all work out. At least you’ll know for next time.

Here’s a fun trick to play on the lovely people at FanDuel.

Request a withdrawl by check for the amount of .25 cents.

They will spend .50 cents in the cost of stamps and supplies, mailing it to you!

    Stick it to the man…

I’ll contribute to this when I actually win some money I can withdraw.
