100K to first you have to pay $9.99 sometimes or $22?

    Wtf is going on m8?

What happened to the $4 entries for 100k to first? how can we protest

Smaller slates I think the raise to entry fee to compensate for inevitable ties and people wanting to play the same amount of money but feel more comfortable with less entries than usual.

Pricing has been going up for a while now. Don’t play if you don’t like it. Only way you can “protest”.

Whether I have to beat 20,000 people or 100,000 people. I still have like a 0.1% chance of winning.

I’ve noticed prices increase as seasons wind down. For example on DK for NFL it was $80 the last regular season milly maker. Up from like $20. I also notice that with lower entry fee contests for NHL and NBA. Think half of the fans lose interest when there team won’t be in the playoffs.

The reason is that there is not as many people interested in playing nba now. So in order to keep the top prize where it is, they have to raise the entry fee, as there are less participants. There are many reasons why at this time of year participation drops in nba contests. Here are a couple…all the tanking and every player seemingly questionable before every game. Imo…It’s becoming annoying to have to keep refreshing BBM more than usual up until lock. Maybe there’s an edge there, yet it really is draining. With golf, hockey, and MLB, you can make your lineups the night before and for the most part be confident your lineups will be live for the next day. Also, NBA now has to compete with mlb and golf as well, in addition to hockey. There’s only so many dollars to go around.

Prices been going up before tanking & all the other sports came back though. But yeah it is annoying but like sochoice said, i’ve just stopped playing on FD, i’m sure they don’t miss me lol

monkey see, monkey do – DK did it first with the whole excellent 8s tourny and I was thinking wow cool FD hasn’t done it, then 2 weeks later bam $7.77, $9.99, whatever they got now

i honestly think the lobbies would fill out faster with the old $4 entries 50k-100k to first

If didn’t have max 20 or 25 they would.

  • worldsgreatest13

the $9 is just too rough for me, i usually like to have around $100 deposited and $4 × 4 lineups for 16$ was nice. Now it’s gonna be $36, too costly

Exactly, which goes to my point earlier that at this part of the nba season participation is down, as in the number of people playing. Earlier in the season they could easily fill a $4 max 20 entry with 100k to first. At this point they can not which is clearly the result of less participants. So they need to offer higher buy in and/or higher max entry to fill a 100k to first contest.
