ARE $25/$200 the only price points you are going to have Qs for this?
ANYTHING LARGER planned out or less with mass volume?

The current plan is to offer Qs at entry fee levels ranging from $5 to $500, but not every entry fee level every day. Keep an eye on our Playboy College Football Championship homepage for upcoming sizes.

I’m going to be a bit “contrarian” and say that I wish sites like this wouldn’t participate with Playboy. I know a lot of great sports fans that I’d love to refer to DFS but if they see it as some thing where the finals are associated with Playboy, it’s a lost cause. Not trying to be a prude or anything like that, but if you’re trying to appeal to the sports-loving family man (or even female sports fans) who has a wife and kids and some money to spare, then this is not the right way to go about it. I have trouble enough trying to explain how DFS is not true gambling, this makes it seem that much seedier.

Feel free to attack, but that’s how I feel. To me DFS is becoming way too frat boy.

I am excited that live finals for CFB are now a reality, but I am in agreement with @kantiger77 as well. And, I have heard a ton of others voice similar sentiment in the past; we are definitely not the lone voices. But, for those not in a position where you’d worry about this aspect, I suppose it helps you that much more (i.e., not as many people vying for a spot).

Agreed, but the majority of DFS money is from single males in their 20s, so no reason for FD to stop.

I don’t disagree with a lot of what’s been said here. However, typically the PB championship is in addition to a larger championship. Not saying that is going to be the case here, and there’s nothing worse than the guy that says “just don’t play” (because I’m not that guy, I hate that guy, just like I hate the “build better lineups” guy), but hopefully there will be options for all. If there is a second championship, outside of the PB one, those opposed to PB will still have an opportunity at a live final. We’ll see.

  • kantiger77

I’ll note I’m note a “live championship guy” anyway, but I particularly wouldn’t be in the case I mentioned. I’d love a system of smaller more localized championships. I could even see a day where DFSers out of a certain metro area competed. That would be fun.

I think you’re on to something there, i’m from Columbus, Ohio and I think if you played different kind of championships like that it would only enhance the experience and add more depth to DFS.

They have Local and national poker leagues. Why not add DFS to the equation.

I’m not sure how you would start something like that, that would be cool though.
