It’s 11 am and their .25 tournament is filled. First pitch is 8 HOURS away! Their options for low limit players who like 10/20 entry max are non existent.

I know DK has so many options, but I prefer FDs one pitcher and the overall layout of their site.

How about that 1 dollar entry with a max limit of 10? That was offered opening day. What happened to it?

These guys should be offering so much more. How about that 1 dollar entry with a max limit of 10? That was offered opening day. What happened to it?

They made a new contest, which they usually do if the first one fills quickly.

That being said, I do agree that it would be nice to have smaller max entry options.

  • pootnami

They just did. I emailed them and got a quick response back that they implemented a new one. They need more smaller 20 max entries! They have one for pga weekly. They should have one for MLB.

Always said, I love FD’s format, but DK tourney’s for low level guys….

  • Jvanspro

I completely agree with this. I prefer FD’s format but my word. Where are the 3-5-10-20 max entries. There is literally nothing out there but Satellites which I will not play.

  • jsw3ent

    Over 5 hours until 1st pitch——the 4$ 50K tournament is almost filled—-could have been 75k or more.—- DK 4$ is 100K

I love the “bunt” and “small bunt” and the “sacrifice fly” $1 contests. The last two usually regenerate the course of the day. I will play the heck out of these contests before ever spending another minute on DK; in terms of graphics, interface and format, DK is like playing an old Coleco Vision compared to FanDuel. Gives me a headache.

They added a 20k that filled 2 hours + before 1st pitch——and have added a 15k——they could have doubled the size of the 1st contest——probably could have filled 100k.

Agreed! I like FD MLB and they need more contests. I am not surprised. It happens in NBA too and I had to contact them just for them to add a $2 SE tourney one time.

I agree. DK is such an eye sore, and I have a hard time finding my final score or even the right contests to enter.

    And another 15k ?

Yeah I am in the same boat. Would love to enter 3 or 4 $1 a slate and there just isn’t anything in that range. (Apparently I just couldn’t find them on my phone.) There isn’t even a quarter contest for today’s early slate. I don’t have time to sit around and see if things get posted throughout the day.

  • Lathum

I play pretty good volume, about 1-3 hundred a slate but mostly smaller buy ins up to $25 single entry. I love the &1-2 ten max entries they occasionally run. I’ll max that then do ten in the squeeze. I wrote them yesterday in support chat that they need to do that daily. They said they would pass it on to the production developers

I said the same thing. I play mostly SE and up to 20 entry max. But have been stuck playing the .25 which is like lighting money on fire cause ther is nothing.

They had a $3, 10 entry max on opening day. Haven’t seen it since.

That was the one I referenced when I wrote support. That is a great contest for the low to mid stakes player

Over two hours until early slate for MLB today and the lobby is void of any SE tournaments and .25 tournament. Who’s in charge of this???

  • jsw3ent

Wed. early 4$ slate filled hours early again——they have/will add 2-3 more contests——instead of making the 1st one larger with larger payouts . The 1st early 4$ contest—-1st place pays 10k——this one 2.5k——the next probably 1k…etc……..increase the size of the 1st contest for crying out loud.

I actually disagree with this. I much prefer more smaller field tournaments than one big one personally.

In fact, if I see too many entries I don’t enter usually.

well if I get lucky and actually win a tournament—-I much prefer it to be a big hit. I wont usually even enter a trny unless it pays 5-10k to 1st——-single entries I do however .——-but that is what makes the world go round—-different strokes. They could increase the size of the 1st—-and still have smaller ones——-but we can agree to disagree .

  • D4RKSH33P

Regardless of the exact type of low stakes entry, it seems like it is a more automated process on DK. Some sort of calculation to know how big to make the next one with the time left before lock. I don’t mind size of those types of tournies, but knowing that one will be available on DK whenever I have the chance to enter during the day is so much better.

  • pootnami

We got a 2.22 ten max option fellas! Good start!

It’s a start. Just sucks they finally do this on a 3 game slate. Hopefully we continue to see these options on larger slates.

4 game slate. The contest, plus the $1 three entry max, are going to be full 4 hours before first pitch

  • Lathum

Both full already. What a joke. If you live on the West Coast you don’t even know the contest existed. Should be a 10K prize pool.

  • pootnami

It filled early! Please make it bigger!

Hey guys, just wanted to drop in. We’re listening and we’ll see what we can do moving forward.
