Why is FanDuel always having problems with scoring? It is very frustrating and bad business.

  • hypegotti

I really wouldn’t have played without live scoring this is my Sunday entertainment smh

Agree. This has not been enjoyable, at all.

  • hypegotti

Not being able to leverage out players and play ownership late hurts too

  • Jvanspro

I understand it’s very frustrating but this is more of an issue with the stat provider then FanDuel. Fantrax and several other sites are having the same outage, it’s been down since Saturday I believe.

I know my issue, and several other folks, was the lack of transparency.

They knew this was an issue on Saturday because there was a banner on their homepage regarding CFB scoring. Then they didnt alert us to the problem for NFL until AFTER lock after they had collected their million plus in rake for the day. They threw a banner up and sent out a tweet and called it good – then went radio silent all day until they got so inundated with complaints (nearly 1,000 comments on their initial tweet so far, and who knows how many support tickets) that they finally did a half baked “50% lossback up to $100” thing, which is a joke.

So it came across as really poor form, a bad look and quite frankly: shady AF. Perception is reality and the optics of this situation are rough for them. The lack of communication and then the half hearted “attempt” at making it right is what has most people upset, including me. If they would have been open and honest from the beginning and acknowledged the issue then the backlash wouldnt have been so harsh.

Plus, regardless of whatever business youre in, you cannot just blame contractors for issues and tie up people’s money. As the bond holder in construction or the money holder in this situation, the buck stops with them – whether they like it or not.

Exactly. It’s not hard to at least pretend you share your customers’ concerns, you know this is terrible, you will do everything in your power to make it right and to win back your customers’ trust. FD did none of these things. FD’s solution will rightfully enrage nearly everyone because it’s inadequate.

I may be in the minority but I intentionally didn’t play Best Ball on FD this year because I literally don’t trust them to hold my money. This was after their summer debacle with locking everyone out when they allegedly “upgraded” which I think was after their other debacle of failing to score MLB games, etc.

Hope they get it resolved soon….many decide how much they are spending on Showdown slates on Sunday and Monday depending how they do on Main slate….just a waiting (Entered Showdown Slates on DK).

  • Mach3

I did some research and entered my highest number of lineups ever. Murphy’s Law. LOL

  • Jvanspro

I get what you guys are saying from an transparency standpoint. I thought they had something at the top of the screen when you entered a lineup. I remember seeing it although small. At the end of the day winning lineups will still win and be paid out. It’s not ideal but it’s not like you just lost all of your money.

  • feekdogg

It’s about 50 hours since their CFB contests started. I’m still at 0 points in all my lineups. How can they not have some sort of contingency plan for entering stats in case a massive outage occurs?

  • livetorace17

They just put another banner in the lobby saying Monday’s MLB and NFL games will likely be affected.

  • Kp24

All that being said, if they resolve everything, are you going to play FD this weekend or are you going to let your wagering dollar speak for you and not play?

  • Mach3

They just started updating the totals. Money showing up but not the final numbers as of now.

  • Mach3

I actually had 470 lineups in….yeah yeah. I kept making profit on the smaller ($.05) games so I went for the big payout. This has been scary.

Looks like just the KC/LV game for now. Hopefully the rest will follow in short order.

  • teamwillow

Things are starting to come in now. Hopefully some of you guys binked a big one!

I don’t know if it is true or not but the Twitter mentioned payments to their stat provider were behind….hope that isn’t the case.

Ehhhhhhh. I don’t know if that’s the case, everything seems to be working fine again now though.

I don’t think that’s true. Fantrax is also way behind on scoring due to the same issue.

  • livetorace17

Still no updates on nascar or CFB…..

  • BazookaDad

Any news on the credits? Still nothing in my account.

  • SkateFiend

These scoring outage is more of a problem for high volume players who play thousands of dollar per slate. They need live scoring to facilitate efforts in making late changes. And they need winnings from earlier slates to keep on playing.

  • livetorace17

My credit went in mid morning. Anyone else?

  • yisman

I got an alert saying my credits went in. It was last night here.

Oct 13, 2020, 9:24pm ET Manual Adjustment Lossback Credit: 7830111 Fantasy Bonus +$100.00

I must’ve lost about 4k between MLB and NFL these past few days, so small consolation.
