Only go there for the Top Gun lore factor. The food itself is horrible. But it is right across the street from the Manchester Grand, so you have that working for you.

Sounds like nothing has changed since the last time I was there 15 years ago!

  • JEFFRAMBO

Yeah, if that place didn’t have the Top Gun gimmick to get people in the door it would be out-of-business. It’s worth experiencing once in life for about two drinks worth of your time.

For anyone that wants a very classy five-star restaurant experience and/or high-end bar w/ live jazz music in a lounge setting, steps away across the street from the Manchester Grand within Seaport Village is a place called Eddie V’s. Five stars hands down… http://www.yelp.com/biz/eddie-vs-prime-seafood-and-steak-san-diego (or 4.5 stars if you go by Yelp).

On most weekend nights you can also go in to the lounge blind folded, spin in circles, and randomly stop to find yourself facing a group of international flight attendants on a long overnight who are staying across at the Hyatt… and let’s just say that if you have never traveled for business with frequency, international flight attendants on long overnights like to unwind.

    San Diego:

    Zoo
    Three’s Company
    Superchargers
    La Jolla

    Anything I’m missing?

We have an awesome city. Can’t wait to have members of the RG community here.

You guys are all missing the obvious. In~N~Out (mic drop)

  • ChaosM83

Also I prefer the Wild Animal Park to the Zoo.

That’s kinda far from where the event will be though.

The bar that the Three’s Company crew hung out, Regal Beagle, is actually located in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. However the Superchargers will belong to Los Angeles in the near future.

I stayed a the Manchester Grant Hyatt in San Diego about 18 months ago and really enjoyed it. You just can’t beat the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. The food is incredible. Eye candy everywhere. And the nightlife is awesome.

Not gloating but I got in on a single $25 entry…didn’t even mean to enter it into the qualifier which still blows my mind. I was entering 15 lineups into the sunday milli and clicked the wrong one haha. Good luck to everyone!

…just making the point you can qualify without a large bankroll…again, not gloating whatsoever.

Should have just made an outrageous parlay bet focusing on prop bets. Would have won around a million dollars. You blew it.
